We just got in a game of Star Wars: The Card Game last night. This weekend we’ll be playing Lords of Waterdeep while we look forward to soon getting to play the new expansion that just released, Scoundrels of Skullport

Smallworld play with 5 people is more rewarding, because the game is not so predictable and there is a greater dynamic range of the races and abilities.
Finally found some people to play Smallworld with, that’s a great little game. I played with three people but I would love to play with 5 and test out the bigger board.
The game Castellan was curious to play due to its author.
But I thought that the desing somewhat precarious.
We plan to check out a couple games picked up at Gen Con last week: Castellan and Trains.
My Kickstarter reward copy of Drum Roll arrived last week. I am hoping we can get a game of it in too.
Playing Krosmaster Arena tonight. looking forward to it, though it’s seen as very light. Hoping to find hidden depth.
Tomorrow night is scheduled Drum Roll and Terra Mystica.
MTG (again) ^^
Played:
Crokinole x 2
Get Bit
Dungeon Roll
Lords of Vegas
Mice & Mystics
Guildhall: Job Fair
Lost Legends
So far, I played three games of Card of the Dead by AEG with my son and his friend. It’s a fun, quick little card game with lots of opportunities to mess with your opponents.
I’ve also played a couple of solo games of the new Pathfinder Adventure Card Game, and I’m really loving it. It’s pretty awesome. I enjoy the LOTR: LCG, but so far this game is what I wanted LOTR to be. It’s less abstracted, there are lots of decisions to make, there is a lot of tension in the blessing deck as it depletes througout the game, and the stupid dice continue to fail me, so it all adds up to a great game. Even solo, I enjoyed it so much after the first play that I had to go online and subscribe to the bimonthly card pack expansions.
Did three quests of Descent. Too bad I’m moving in a few weeks and likely wont get to finish it off
It is epic gaming day today and I have no clue what we will end up playing!
Managed to sneak in a 3 player Belfort last night. Don’t think I have time for much more but we’re gathering up on tuesday for a game or two of something; maybe Eclipse or LoW
Played Castellan twice. Second game was a variant we came up with on the fly. Tried out the Undermountain portion of the Lords of Waterdeep expansion. Finished the night off with a few rounds of the new Fluxx board game.
Might get a chance to play some Super Dungeon Explore or the LotR LCG with the wife before the weekend is over. Also looking to play a Zombicide mission and maybe some Netrunner.
Played a game of Stone Age with my game group. First time playing that in quite a while. Everyone enjoyed it.
I currently have plans for both Lords of Waterdeep (with Scoundrels of Skullport) and Forbidden Desert. I’m hoping to get in another couple of things as well, but they are less determined at this point.
Received Seasons for my birthday last weekend and it’s been staring at me begging to be opened all week. Obliging will be my top priority this weekend.
Supposed to be able to draft L5R: Gates of Chaos, though I don’t think our card shop got it in for this weekend.
So chances are we’ll have to content ourselves with Smash Up, Trains, Sentinels of the Multiverse, Firefly, and Romance of the Nine Empires. However will we manage?
In the wake of the announcement that Blue Moon is making a comeback, I’m hoping to get some of the original decks out. Hopefully Le Havre: Inland Port can finally get played (more than once we’ve set it up without playing it).
It’s fantasy football draft season, so a couple of those are sadly going to take a big chunk out of my weekend.
