We just got a copy of Eight-Minute Empire in the mail this week and so far we’ve enjoyed every minute! We’ll be playing that and other “lighter” games this weekend.
Then had a friend up visiting from Wales for a couple of nights, so after seeing some comedy at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival on Sunday we had a few games of Zombie Dice on the train home, and then continued the theme on Monday with some games of For The Win (sadly not on Boardgaming.com, can somebody remind me how to request an add?) and Android: Netrunnner.
I also treated myself to a copy of Smash Up, but didn’t find the time to play…hoping to bring this one out next time I have friends round 😀
Played two games of LOTR:TCG solo. Learned Cargo Noir and dusted off Dice Town with the extension. Went 1-1 in LOTR, dominated Cargo Noir, and got smoked in Dice Town.
Picked up Call of Cthulhu The Card Game this weekend and won SmallWorld Underground in a FLGS raffle on Friday. The family could not have been less interested. Tried to get out to FLGS to check them out and the wife said we need to do things together. She watched TV, the boy played video games and the baby poked me in the eye. I’m one sad panda. 🙁
Finally, after 15 years of inactivity, I got a Necromunda campaign off the ground. Not only did some gangs get rolled up, but a game was actually played!
*Note to self – do NOT charge a Delaque heavy armed with a lascannon without sufficient movement to actually engage said heavy in the future.

In the man cave: Magic:TG Duels of the Plainswalkers 2014 Sealed Deck Multiplayer
I’m new to this site. Bought a few board games recently to play with my wife and daughters (7 & 9). Loving Ticket to Ride, King of Tokyo, and Forbidden Island. Also bought Tsuro, but still to get into that one.

Played Dungeon Roll and Tournay on Monday.
Had an awesome weekend of gaming – kicked off on Saturday with games of Battlestar Galactica, Love Letter and King of Tokyo at a friends (with added pizza of course…).
