Can’t wait for the next explorable…I’m done wiht this one 🙂
Also, it would be nice to have another explorable theme quest…
– Solo games
– 10 Best gateway games
– 10 Best party games
– 10 best 2013 games
– and so on…
Thanks for your answers, everybody. I didn’t know that.
@Lozmoid
Smallworld still explorable too
If you find other games please let me know
Memoir 44 is one of my favorite games! I am glad to see it as an explorable. I have every expansion except for the bag. I mostly play solo, but sometimes play with one or more of my friends. I really enjoy all the expansions and I have a lot of Memoir content available for download on BGG under the name “Rongammer”. I have made help sheets and charts for every unit type and expansion, and a list of what each expansion brings to the game. That document is available here:

Thanks for City of Remnant…I didn’t get that one…looks interesting
@Lozmoid, @Ob1,
Except for the Cooperative collection and 5 or 6 “classics” (like Ticket to Ride) the Explorables are only intended to be explorable for a week and then turned off. On the occasions where you see one still explorable after its week, it’s because @Jim missed turning them off when he created the new batch. As of right now, the only one of these I’m aware of is City of Remnants.
@Lozmoid
I don’t see it for the 2 games you named but Ticket to ride is explorable
If you find other games please let me know
I look forward to exploring Memoir 44, don’t know much about it. The system really works when it encourages learning more about games!
I own Memoir ’44 and it’s fantastic.
Hey, does anyone know if some of the older explorable games cn still be fully explored? Titles like Fleet and Haggis for example… It could just be my browser but I’m not seeing the blue explorable checklist appear at the bottom of the page now… Any ideas? Thanks
Congrats Scott!
Memoir ’44 is a game I would like to try before you buying it and since I’m the crazy guy who buys the most games for the group, I think I will not be able to play this game any time soon
Both good games, one light, one medium.

Congrats Scott on being selected this week!
Expandable games!
As a fantasy fan, I like Battlelore much better than Memoir ’44. However, the Command & Colors card system is really nice, and if you want a great war game with tons of expansions…Memoir ’44 is definitely something to look into.
Railways of the World (previously Railroad Tycoon) is a Martin Wallace design. It has a ton of pieces and includes auctions, railway building, pick up and deliver, and other mechanisms used in many railroad games. Despite this, I think it is pretty easy to play. It also has a lot of expansions…and a pretty active community around it with fan made maps, etc.
I’m not a ‘train’ guy, but I found Railways of the World to be a fun play. Pretty easy to pick up and the components are very nice. RoW is on my wish list!
Memoir ’44 is good introductory wargame. Very easy to pick up and has a quick play time.
I am interested in playing both. I just wish I knew someone that has ether of them.
