I’m glad I picked up Jaipur a while back. I owe that purchase to this website and the wonderful people that have reviewed it. Sadly, I haven’t had a chance to get it to the table yet, but that will soon change. Haggis doesn’t seem like a good fit for me, but I do love the draw of another game that plays well with two.
I have been looking at picking up Jaipur especially after seeing some of the comments here. Thanks all 🙂
Jaipur is a great game, and I’m really glad I picked up my copy at the end of January. I want to get a few more plays under my belt before I review it, though.
Haggis looks like an excellent game, and I’ve put it on my wishlist. I’ll probably pick it up the next time I do a games purchase.
@Jim It’s been awhile since I played Haggis, but I pulled it out, dusted it off, and wrote a review. It really is a great 2-player card game. If you like trick taking games… especially climbing games… there is no reason to not have Haggis on the shelf.
If Sean is reading… thanks for the great game!!!
Jaipur does look like a very interesting game, one that I had not seen before…now on my wish list..
Haggis…never heard of it,but looks interesting… Don’t know anyone who has it though, and not really one that I’d buy..
Jammerdad
I’ve run across references to Jaipur several times in the last few weeks. After going through the exploration I’m sold on it. It’ll be a great game for those relaxing evenings at home with the lady.
More reviews to Haggis please…
Jaipur is a brilliant couples game. Fun, quick and a little bit of screw you factor (but not to much).
Quite funny with Haggis appearing the week after Tichu did which it somewhat resembles. A very good alternative if you’re missing that 4th person.
Kind of hard to explore haggis with only 3 reviews :/
I got Haggis with The Resistance, but never opened it. Will do so tonight. 🙂 Jaipur is nice – played it once a long time ago.
Very nice. I saw Jaipur in my friend’s game collection. I’m going to bring it up next time we have just the two of us looking for something to do. Haggis looks interesting too…it’s just that I haven’t seen it in my friend’s game collection. Ooh, Christmas present idea!
If you’ve played Haggis, please write a review for it!
I considered making a different game from Sean’s shelf explorable since Haggis doesn’t have many user reviews… but then I saw that he designed Haggis!
