Explore games by mechanic or theme
New options in the main navigation’s “GAMES”
drop down menu
Now you can easily browse through games of a specific mechanic or theme. You can also do this by clicking on a theme or mechanic in the info area on a game page, but we thought we’d make it even more accessible!

I would like to add my voice to the outcry for user added games. I’m loving this site, but so many great games are not represented yet. That is my only complaint.
As above- I like the clean set up you’ve got for games, but you’re a few hundred titles behind the curve. Letting users do some of the grunt work might help you.
This is a nice start and this site could end up being great.
Also, can we get a pics section going for the games? It is nice to see components before you decide on a game
No Battlestar Galactica on here is making me sad.
I will add my voice to the litany above calling for new mechanisms for adding games. I agree with Andrew Snow — a request system in place until the site gets enough infrastructure to provide quality control on user-added material.
Frankly, though, without a much more robust database of games, I think the cool site and system will be for naught. BGG is atrociously designed and unwieldy but one cannot argue with the sheer volume of information.
What is the current criterion for adding games? Is it only done by the publishers? Certain companies seem much more well represented than others.
I’ll throw my support behind user added games. Most of my collection is not in the DB. 🙁
Adding my voice to the request for either the ability for users to add games or a system to request a game be added.
Consider me seconding (or sixthing) the idea of user-added games. For the review process, it would be as simple as adding a quest to get people to visit and review new submissions.
I agree with Andrew, at least until they allow user submissions, a request system would be worthwhile.
Yes, users adding games would be great, and I agree that they should be reviewed!
I would love to see a lot of games (some my favorites) added as well. Are you planning on a way for users to add games?
While I would love to be able to add games, I think that it would require a review process (possibly a team of reviewers) to insure the level of quality this site has. I think until a method is created in which users can add to the site, and still maintain this quality, there should be a system in place to request a specific game to be added.
I agree with Nate Scott about users adding games. The more the better.
Users being able to add games would add a lot to the site
How do I add a game, ie 1960: The Making of the President
