I do think it’s worth the money (though obviously that’s somewhat of a loaded question). The positive aspects of the game are that it’s a fun beer-and-pretzel dungeon crawler that I would almost consider a filler game. You can play it solo. The components are great. The negatives are length of set up (lots of card piles and shuffling) and the abruptness of your demise. Dying on an early tile on a 3-4 player game can be a bummer because it could be a long wait to jump back in – though that’s mitigated by taking on the role of the monsters. No, there’s not a whole lot of strategy and there’s a lot of luck involved. I don’t think it’s the type of game where you brag about a skillful win over your buddies. Rather its one where you all laugh about the various mishaps that occur along the way to the game’s end. Hope this helps and I’m curious to hear what others think.
