Agricola
It’s an awesome game, but might be a bit daunting to learn straight from the rule book. Not so much for the mechanics (Which are straight forward), but for tackling the basic strategy for the first time.
Scott Nicholson has an excellent “How to play Agricola” video on Youtube, and Ryan Sturm has a very well structured episode on his “how to play” Podcast. (Episode 4 I think) Listen/watch both and it will all click.
Is it true Agricola is Latin for “Puerto Rico”???
