So once again, they have chooses a game to explore that does not have enough reviews. I have read them here and watched the video and this looks like a good game. Good quality tokens and pretty easy to understand!

First things first – get the Enhanced Version. It comes with a lot of rule clarifications and a whole lot of tokens that can be used for hit points and various “conditions” found in the game.

This is a great game. The replay value is extremely high as the base set comes with 10 different heroes, 4 villains and 4 environments. You can play with anywhere from 3 to 5 heroes at a time so there are tons of different options from the get go!

Expansions can be had for as little as $5 – for a new villain, new hero or new environment or expansion sets for as little as $15 – gets you usually 2 new heroes, 4 new villains and 2 new environments.

Heroes are quite varied from the “Batman”esque Wraith to the “Iron Man”like Bunker. Villains all play quite differently. From the very basic Baron Blade to the more complex Grand Warlord Voss.

Game play is actually quite simple. Villain turn, hero turns, environment turn, repeat! The one thing you must remember is to read the cards. Most problems arise when players fail to read the card. Follow the card step by step and you should be ok.

Overall a great game that offers the novice and avid gamer a fun and challenging evening.

A must have!
