This weekend we’ll be previewing maverick:muse’s oddball Aeronauts 2: Double the Trouble that’s currently on kickstarter. It will be perfect because it’s 2-player, very portable and we’ll be traveling over the weekend.

It was a slow weekend for me, too. I did get in several plays of the SotM game on my new tablet (finally got one that is compatible, huzzah!), so that was nice. Otherwise, no gaming took place. Very sad indeed. I’ll have to make up for it on Thanksgiving and this weekend.

Hi, I just finished 5 days at BGGCon and played/examined a ton of games. I will be reviewing what I can over the next couple of weeks once I rest up and organize my notes. There are a lot of great games coming down the road.

It was Co-Op weekend with The Boy. We finally beat a round of the birthday acquired Darkest Night and then added the expansion With An Inner Light and got our armor handed to us.
As for The Captain is Dead – He’s still dead. This is becoming a weekend tradition of loving to hate gaming.
Oh and about 4 games of Cross Hares so I could finish my review. Liberally dosed on extremely narcotic cough syrup as I ironically pulled a sick day today. Sorry guys. At least it has that windy, twisty, trail game flavor.
There was a lot of sorting happening this weekend as it seems Kickstarter Christmas is beginning again. Wooo! The most wonderful pledged straggler time of the year. Today – not a straggler at all as Evil Hat is really on the ball. My 4 Volumes of Designers and Dragons! I am excited for these as any game! Sweet, sweet Gaming Historia!

SHADOWS OF BRIMSTONE WAVE ONE FINALLY ARRIVED TODAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Oh *GLEE* and Glory! I could barely lift the box in the house. I was afraid I would have to stand watch over it. It is now all spread out over the gaming table ready to be fondled and sorted. After assembling the figures (and gluing my fingers and toes together at least 3 times in the process) this is going to get GOBS of play! (@Jeff W Nudge nudge

This weekend I got to crack open my very own copy of Krosmaster Arena, which will forever be referred to in my home as “plastic chibi crack” thanks to HaiKulture.
I played some Catan Dice with my 6 year old daughter. Later I got to play a bunch of adult games.

@Treebeard Sweet! I haven’t been to a gaming con since Gen Con 2002, I miss those days. I was at Origins 2001 though, that was a lot of fun!
I went to BGG Con in Dallas Texas. This was my first convention since Orgins 2001.
I had a slow start since I volunteered in one of the booths, but I had a great time and would not trade the last day for anything.

Convention Weekend. I listed my favorite games of the weekend in bold.
Mysterium x2 – A murder mystery game where one player is the ghost of the victim and has to communicate who killed them using visions (Dixit like cards) and the other players have to solve the mystery.
Red7 – A simple card game where you play one card to your sets, change the win condition or play a card then change the win condition and draw a card. You must be winning the game at the end of your turn or you are out for the round.
