If I had not the collection of Magic the Gathering, or I just had more money I would collect the X-Wing miniatures. Simply the level of perfection of which is fabulous.
I realise its not the weekend any more but after buying it last weekend and playing every night we just won our first game of Pandemic tonight! Good times!
We had our monthly big game night on Sat. LOTS of new and old games:
Legends of Andor, Ticket to Ride, Lords of Waterdeep, Shadows over Camelot, Snake Oil, Ultimate Werewolfe x2, Bananagrams, Puerto Rico, Zombicide, Tsuro, Rialto x2, & Viticulture x2. Viticulture has quickly become one of our favorite games with lots of replayability.
Got in a few light games: Tsuro, Forbidden Island, and Gunrunners. I now have three of Dr. Finn’s two-player games. I highly recommend them if you are looking for light and quick options for two! There is a Kickstarter for a new one called Capo dei Capi that ends October 8: http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/337407318/capo-dei-capi
On a side note….I’ve got to learn some basic html!
Played – Guildhall (love this game), Spyrium (okay game), 7 Card Slugfest (hated it), Incan Gold (always fun push your luck), Boss Monster (like this game)and Dungeons & Dragons The Fantasy Adventure Board Game (Europe only released in ’03, okay old school little dungeon crawl).
Game group’s monthly Saturday is today. Will miss a few hours with other commitments. Theme today is “story telling” games. So I guess I need to work on my excuse a bit better!
Packed up some games to teach to people on an upcoming trip, and realized I had the three Spiel des Jahres finalists set to go, Augustus, Qwixx and Hanabi. It’s amazing how little space the three combined take up! I have those, Love Letter and one set of Timeline taking up about a quarter of a plastic grocery bag.
Going home for my sister’s birthday with: Ticket to Ride: Europe, King of Tokyo, Bang!, The Hobbit and 7 Wonders! Hopefully we can get them all to the table!
Still waiting for my copy of Pathfinder. Thunderstone Advanced for me while waiting.

Played Mice and Mystics and squeezed in a few rounds of X-Wing miniatures! New wave of ships = huge fun.

Hosting the monthly game day that Martin mentioned. Other likely games include Mage Knight, Avalon and Zombies!!!.
Firefly and Battlestar Galactica are at the top of the list for the monthly epic gaming day which is on my birthday!! What a coincidence!
King of Tokyo, King’s Forge PnP, Kingsburg, Small World, and Zombicide.

Trains and Star Trek Attack Wing.
Probably Dungeon Roll and Star Trek Catan.
We’re gaming this weekend, but the debate about what we’ll be playing has only started. Hope it’s something good.
Hope to play more Pandemic and hopefully some Lords of Waterdeep too
