All-day game event though I had to call it early. Dusted off Bohnanza and Power Grid. Revisited Trajan. Did two back to back sessions of Sentinels of the Multiverse with Rook City and Infernal Relics sprinkled in. Finally broke out Dominion with Dark Ages.
What I really want to play is some the new Spiel (Essen) hottness like Clash of Cultures, Keyflower, or Tzolk’in but I don’t know what my gaming buddies are bringing back. If not those then I would like to get another play in of Vanuatu in and get a play of Moongha in this weekend.
I’ve got a ton of games (four of ’em) up for review this weekend because of the Swedish Game of The Year award “Guldtärningen” (The Golden Dice), which was passed out just recently in four different categories (family, adult, kids, and brainy). So that’s what I’ll be playing. I won’t be able to make my deadline on Monday though but the review will have to be pushed back until the week after that. The main reason for this not only has to do with the said number of games that I’ll be playing (four titles is a lot to cover), but because of a Halloween Special that I’ve got coming up this Monday: a playthrough of Mansions of Madness which I recorded a couple of weeks back and have been editing ever since.
Outside of work around the house, I might get some Amazing Space Venture, LOTR:LCG and maybe some Babylon 5: CCG (I built some relatively balanced/competitive decks for each of the factions so it plays more like a “board game” than a CCG. Should be a good weekend. 🙂
We have come into a few games as of lately and Im sure we will be getting together with some folks for the ND v. OK game. We may bust something out then. Maybe the newly acquired Smash Up.
After a couple of weeks of almost no gaming (other than enjoyable cribbage and chess games during lunch breaks at work), it looks like we should be able to play something this weekend. I’m hoping for a spot of Dominion, and after that who knows. Catan Junior is becoming a family favourite, so I wouldn’t be surprised if we get a spot of that.

National rabbit show (22K animals!) in Wichita, KS this weekend, so clearly some Killer Bunnies are in order.
We’re getting together to watch the World Series and probably play some Game of Thrones
Pandemic, and a little Boomtown!

I’ll give an update when the weekend is over:) Too hard to predict what will get played.
Halloween party, maybe some Are You A Werewolf?
We’re going to play a few sets of Lord of the Rings: The Card Game, although most of the weekend will be filled with work.

Our all day game day is tomorrow. Most likely Arkham Horror, Resistance, Settlers and a list too long to describe.
