This weekend is a bit up in the air for me. Earlier this week we had another epic adventure of Star Wars: Imperial Assault. The rebels have won quite a few missions, so we’re expecting the imperials to start hitting us hard from here on.
What are you playing this weekend?
Legendary
Talisman
Dice Forge
Harry Potter Hogwarts Battle
A fierce and tight match of Munchkin Axe Cop and a cold war with explosion of final attacks in Antike.
And two Magic games (MTG).
Blood Bowl too!
Friday: Arkham Horror with many expansions
Saturday: Arkham Horror with many expansions
Sunday: Played first scenario of our Krosmaster: Quest campaign.
I played Jump Drive, Flashpoint:Fire Rescue, and Sushi Go.
@ grysqrl: My wife (Tiana901) and I have played 2 out of 3 of the Exit games (The Secret Lab and The Pharaoh’s Tomb) and we each wrote of review of one of them. We enjoyed them both and are looking forward to not only The Abandoned Cabin, but also the three new ones coming later this month.
We have also played one of the Escape the Room games (The Secret of Dr Gravely’s Retreat) and enjoyed it as well; although we’ve not written a review of it (yet). What I will say (briefly here) is that its experience seemed more immersive than the Exit games and we felt more part of that “story”.
We have one of the Unlock games, but haven’t tried it yet.
The Deckscapes looked interesting and have a different mechanic, so we’re eager to try the one we bought. We’ll keep you posted.
Played Raiders of the North Sea on Friday. Plan to get Dominion in.
Love to get Pandemic to the table, been a while. Also Betrayal at House on the Hill and maybe Small Worlds too.
@Chris – I’m curious how the Deckscape games are; let us know. Have you done any of the other escape-room-in-a-box games?
Impromptu games night at a friends house … taking Black Fleet and kicking the night off with Starving Artists.
We picked up the one of the Deckscape “escape room” games (The Fate of London) yesterday and will likely give it a try this weekend.
May play The Lost Expedition, and Pandemic.
