(sorry for the delay on this article, had a bunch of computer related issues this week, but now they’re solved!)
This weekend we’ll be playing Star Wars: X-Wing, Lords of Waterdeep and maybe some Battlestar Galactica.
What are you playing this weekend?
RObby, did you make your goal? If so, which villains did you like the most and the most?
The wife and I improvised a 4-player game of Bohnanza by controlling two hands each. Quite a fun way to play.
I played Powergrid, Settlers of Catan, Guillotine, and Cover Your Assets!
We just purchased the “Shattered Timelines” expansion for Sentinels of the Multiverse, so our goal this weekend is to play each villain at least twice before the clock strikes Monday!
Plaid Hat Games just announced BioShock Infinite: The Siege of Columbia. It’s my what I want to be playing game of the weekend 😉 http://www.plaidhatgames.com/news/226
Played Bohnanza last night with the wife. I’m looking forward to playing again with a larger group. I’m finally getting a (LONG overdue) chance to play Dominion tonight.
Just snuck in some Castle Panic and River Dragons.
I played Heroclix, Bluff, Lords of Waterdeep,Tokaido Tzolkin, Heisse Offen and Flapjacks and Sasquatches(with and without the side of bacon exp.)
I just came from my game club. I got to play Manhattan Project, Hey that`s my fish and Libertalia. Looking forward to next Monday, as we are to have a long play day, as we call it! 😀
Got a chance to play and learn some Android:Netrunner. This game is really growing on me. I am itching to build my own decks!
@Kaleb, sounds awesome. Send me an invite next time! 🙂
As planned we spent Sunday afternoon mostly playing Runebound, which was a lot of fun, and in the evening the wife allowed me to defeat her at the Game of Thrones Card Game. Other than that we just had a couple of hands of Goblins Drool, Fairies Rule — and we’re still itching to get hold of the “real” version of the game, which is a heavily delayed Kickstarter. Ho hum.
someone gave me sentinels of the multiverse. Played many single player games this weekend. Was quite surprised about the difficulty level for all the baddies other then Baron Blade (what a wimp!)
Had the monthly game night – over 40 showed up at my house! (seriously, will need to rethink this in the future). Played so many different games, but here are some: Troyes, Zombicide, Werewolfe, Resistance, Catan, Kingsburg, Pandemic, Fresco, Agricola: ACG&S, Lords of Waterdeep, Bananagrams, It’s Alive, & Toc Toc Woodman.
Fun times!
Playing Zombicide and A Touch of Evil
Played games with my husband last night. I wouldn’t let him leave the table until I beat him at something… Played Last Will, Tokaido and then I finally beat him after two laps in Formula D!!!
Traveling to relatives, so we’ll probably play some cooperative games like Pandemic and Sentinels of the Multiverse. I also brought Kingdom Builder, Samurai Sword, and King of Tokyo (among others). I’m going to try and find the best FLGS in Los Angeles. If anyone has suggestions, let me know! 🙂
I got to play the Resident Evil Deck Building game earlier. One game lasted for 4 hours! Is that even right? It could be all the analysis paralysis going on. Later tonight, We might get a chance to play Witch of Salem, if everything goes to plan.
Wait, what? A new Flash Point expansion on kickstarter! I think I need to fund it!
Family came in and by surprise I actually played a few games with them.
Small World Underground
King of Tokyo + Power Up
Munchkin
Forbidden Island
Wife wants to try
Fluxx
I think that may be it. . . Maybe some Settlers.
Table Top Day next week should be gaming all night Saturday.
Good-sized group getting together tomorrow, so hopefully we’ll be able to get a lot of games played. I’m hoping for Flash Point: Fire Rescue (same reason as Smuge listed), Zpocalypse to try out more scenarios and the Zmaster expansion, Agents of Smersh, Race for the Galaxy, King of Tokyo, Talisman (with City expansion), and another Zombicide scenario if luck rolls my way.
I guess the weekend started yesterday so the “Struggle for Catan” card game we played last night would count. We had only about 40 minutes so it fit the bill. I am looking forward to Sunday- we are going break out Flash Point: Fire Rescue. We have only played it twice. With the new expansion available on kickstarter, it has renewed my interest and I know the kids love the game.
