We have our monthly game night with old friends Saturday, so we should get a fair number of games in. We will have 5, so some games won’t work. Probably a mix of coop, party, and fillers; Elder Signs, Space Cadets DD, Bang! TDG, Dixit…
Last weekend I “attempted” to finish Assassins Creed 3, this weekend I will dedicate to about session of my favorite zombie killing board game, Zombicide. Hopefully I get my second wave of minis in the mail soon. I’m dying to bring Sean Connery and Snake into the mix.
@Paladin BAH! *arms to heavens* I don’t know whether to be happy or disappointed that I have to do the MYTH unpack dance twice. I guess we’ll see how my time with the orcs and bugs go this weekend (…if it goes *toes crossed*)
Hmmmm…I think we’re on deck for Power Play I’ll have to check The Boy’s list. He was Mr. Level 99 guy until Devastation came and that was such a blast I moved all the Level 99 stuff to my case in our Gaming Den under the cover of darkness. LOL So I became the Level 99 body politic when Argent came to KickTown.
@HaiKulture
Little eyeball guys, undead, elementals, etc are all included in the stretch goal shipment in “April” (read: June, probably). Base game includes 15 orc minions, 15 bug minions, 2 orc captains, 2 bug captains, the undead mini-boss and the bug boss.
Let’s Kill Krampus and Power Play are both vying for “next to be delivered” spot on my KS list. LKK is winning by a mile, though, and should be here in the next week or two barring any delivery snafus.
@Paladin Didn’t you get the little eyeball guys also?
Well – as of 3:30 PM today The Boy informs me we have received a shipment notice for MYTH – due Friday.
Looks like I’ll be crouching on our stoop like a gargoyle awaiting the post, stripping down to the branties for a very intensive punch and sort and then going into a Game Coma for the majority of the weekend.
YAY! *GLEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE*
Shame of it was – I had already dug out the eyepatch for some cargo pirating. ๐ What’s next on the Kick Shipment Delay List? (…besides everything :P)
@HaiKulture: Thanks for the medal; I’m glad you dug the review.
I am WAY TOO DEEP into this MYTH action right now. Having only orcs and bugs to fight is already killing me.
Want me to swing by and pick you up, and we’ll plunder one of those boats they’re shipping the additional base games and all of the stretch goals over on?
@Paladin I saw, I read, I rated, I medal’d. It was both a review and a TEASE!!! GRRRR! Then I raged in jealousy and punched The Boy so he would check and see if we got shipping notification yet!
20 pounds!!!! Dear Lord of the Cardboard Kingdom!!!! I can’t wait to let my OCD punch and sort this!!!!! I have to say very few games make my toes squirm with anticipation!
I thought my gaming this weekend would be limited to the latest session of the Edge of the Empire game I’m in, but my family also played a four-player game of King of Tokyo last night.
Started the competitive-circuit Legend of the Five Rings Kotei tournament season this past Saturday in Detroit, playing an unconventional deck to the play-in round (top 7 competing for top 4), which surprised and pleased me. Five more of these between now and the end of June.
So far-Defenders of the Galaxy, Settlers of catan, Lords of Waterdeep, Heroclix, and Upon a Fable.

No games last weekend ๐
I think I’ll starting purchasing solo games.

I did not play anything. I was really celebrating St. Patrickโs Day.
My copies of Coconuts and Click Clack Lumberjack from Kickstarter came in today! I’m going to get one of those in tonight!
First star wars the card game and then we played a game of kolonisten of the prehistorie and a dice game called mex,we had a lot of fun ๐

@HaiKulture (and anyone else interested): My MYTH review us up, after playing it WAY too much this past weekend.
I did not get to play anything this weekend, unless you count some Eye Spy played while driving all over creation ๐
I did get to take the kids to the park for a few hours on Saturday though because it was 70!
Then it snowed on Sunday…
On a side note, I have only 125 XP to gain to level 9! So close! Still going to take a couple of days to get there…

Played Eclipse for the first time after buying it during the week, what a game ๐
We played some party games with friends, but also got in games of Compounded, Boss Monster and Oddball Aeronauts (PNP)
Played DC Comics DBG: Heroes Unite Sunday.
We finally picked up a copy of Carcassonne – playing that.
