No Lords of Waterdeep, but I got in some Race for the Galaxy (with real, live people!), Blood Bowl: Team Manager, and Nexus Ops. It was good to get in a bit more variety than usual, but to still play some favorites.
Not sure what sorts of board gaming I’ll be able to get in this weekend. Might try for a game of Pastiche with my sister, or possibly some more Smallworld if my brother comes up to visit (he owns the game). I might just work on organising my Magic cards and pulling things for a few Commander decks. We’ll see.
I’m going to read my new copy of Cosmic Patrol (not sure I’ll get to play it). I am going to put together a game of Dread. My son wants to play Sentinels of the Multiverse and Epic Spell Wars. Should be a good weekend.
I had a great night over at Epic Loot playing GravWell and Macao. No, you most likely haven’t heard of the first one. Not published yet, but it’s in the pipeline.
I’m hoping to get in a play of Brass. After that – who knows? I’ll be attending the Boardgame Addicts of the (San Francisco) Peninsula gameday – and will be disappointed to not get in at least three titles.
Most likely lots of Castle Ravenloft. Go see a movie you say? lol, being the father of twin toddlers (who are fighting a cold at the moment to boot) has many many perks and blessings, going to the movies is not one of them. 😉 I do look forward to it’s DVD release tho! 🙂
Not sure quite yet. I have Afternoon Play #18 to attend here in Birmingham this Sunday, and it will depend upon what others bring. I would like to try Agricola, Chicago Express, or German Railways, but it all depends upon what the other attendees bring along.
To somewhat break topic, I saw Hunger Games on Wednesday. From the perspective of someone who hadn’t read the book, I really liked this movie. If you haven’t seen it, it’s definitely worth a movie theater viewing!
Its GAMERS vs. EVIL! the new Penny Arcade DBG from Crypto! Fun!

Away from board games this weekend so lots of Gin Rummy and Sh*thead

War of the Ring!
Game six of Risk: Legacy with two players who have not played since game one. My how things have changed!
It sounds like I’ll finally get a game of Antiquity in, I’m excited!
Looking forward to a couple of fun nights of Game of Thrones: the Board Game (2nd Ed), Founding Fathers and Alien Frontiers!

Played Ascending Empires today and hope to get in a game of Discworld this afternoon. As for later…who knows?
Wind Lane, I’m quite curious about Lords of Waterdeep as well. Make sure you post what you think of it if you end up playing it.

I’m hoping for a shot at Lords of Waterdeep. Seems an interesting idea to pair up D&D with such Euro-style game mechanics.

I like the Hunger Games reference. Unfortunately I dont think the odds are in my favor to get any gaming in this weekend. Another Fail.
