This weekend we’re anxious to try out Tokaido, a game designed by Antoine Bauza (7 Wonders, Takenoko, Ghost Stories). We’ll also be playing Panic On Wall Street if we can get a larger group together.

Trying to justify getting Mice and Mystics…
@Melitia If you aren’t getting past the first chapter of Mice and Mystics, you may be moving the hour marker instead of the endgame marker on the chapter track when something good happens. Read those instructions carefully. We made this mistake a couple times in the beginning. I hope this helps!

Prepping for my D&D gaming group coming over in a few.
Doesn’t look like much gaming will get done this weekend. Perhaps a game of Gulo Gulo.
Just found out I may get to play Zombiecide tonight. My weekend is looking up.
I hoping to get some Small World in since a buddy of mine just picked it up. If not, then I don’t mind some Dominion, Seasons, or Catan.
Cribbage will be the start then a marathon Arkham Horror session with new players. Arkham might be a tall order for the newcomers but if that fails Elder Sign will be pulled out. Happy gaming!
Last night we played a few games of Thunderstone Advance and one of Star Wars the LCG. Tonight we are planning on playing several but as yet unknown.
With all of the snow (8-14″), we’ve been playing more games than usual with folks who live nearby.
So far it’s been Archipelago, Ascension, Alien Frontiers, & Valdora – the latter was surprisingly fun after a long work week, perfect level of simplicity and strategy. Archipelago – a bit frustrating with our first game having a “Traitor” which made it hard to understand how to play; still, lots of potential.
More to come and then wrapping it all up with the Oscars!
Some more solo Mice and Mystics, digital Carcassonne, and whatever else makes it to the table.
It’s a mystery really: board games (Touch by Evil, Spartacus, etc.), RPG (D&D, Beyond the Supernatural-Victim Game, etc.), CCG (L5R, Nature of the Beast, Yetisburg). Friend coming into town so any of the above are a possibility.
I also picked up Tokaido; i love the art but it will remian in the plastic this weekend.
For play, i will get *********** Big Box, Ashardalon, and Smash Up (initial play)on the table with wife and kids.
I am finalizing my painting on “Mice and Mystics” miniatures and “Dust Tactics”. I put the matte finish on the painted DT core set soldiers and boss/command expansions today. I just have to paint the light mechs and medium mech expansions this weekend. Looking forwrd to initial play with my son; never play until painted.
I personally plan on playing Summoner Wars and Catan on iOS, as usual.
For sure Mice & Mystics tomorrow. Have played three times and still haven’t passed the first chapter (my husband and I are convinced we’re missing something…).

Going to see if I can get some games of Android: Netrunner in on Saturday. Got a copy of Constantinopolis from the Fantasy Flight Christmas Sale (for $15!) that I might get to the table on Monday, but it might be Power Grid instead.
Not expecting much gaming this weekend, though we’ll probably have a play of Game of Thrones card game on Sunday. Plus I have already been served by my six-year-old at Fluxx. Twice. That girl is bound for world domination, I swear.
For now Pitch car, Robinson Crueso, a Fistful of Penguins and Pirate Cove. I am at a gathering! 😀
Not entirely sure. Bringing a bunch of games to a get together so we’ll see what everyone wants to play. But I’m hoping to play some Last Night on Earth, King of Tokyo and Escape: The Temple Curse.
May finally get to play Small World with someone who will like it. Munchkin, Forbidden Island, and my sneak in and buy Pandemic. See where the weekend takes me.
