I will GM our Shattered Star Pathfinder Campaign, hopefully finishing the second book and starting the third. Maybe I can convince my group to play a little Sentinels of the Multiverse afterwards. Just picked up Infernal Relics and Shattered Timelines. Man, what a great game!
Had a great time at Planet Comicon. I met a lot of gamers and plan to refer several this way. *crosses fingers* Hopefully they will join up and help expand the community.
I played an unexpected game of Sentinels of the Multiverse with the Chrono Ranger from Shattered Timelines. Spite nearly kicked us to the curb, but we managed a surprising victory! Also managed to share Escape: Curse of the Temple and Flash Point with some old friends.
The highlight of the weekend was meeting Wil Wheaton. I played Munchkin at a table across from where he was playing Space Cadets as part of a charity raffle game. My friend scored a lucky place in that game and gave him a Wesley Crusher-themed dice bag she created.
I’m having game night at my place this Friday and we will be playing, Pandemic(for the fisrt time), Munchkin, Ticket to Ride, Cards Agianst Humanity, and Zombie Dice. It’s going to be a blast.
I had a great day at TringCon on Saturday, but what I ended up playing was entirely different to what I expected: Ninjato, Snowdonia, On the Underground, Saint Malo, Hanabi, and the Manhattan Project. Thoroughly enjoyed all that, even though I did badly at all of them! The weekend also saw some Love Letter and Sheepland.
I moved this weekend and so I only got to play my Neuroshima Hex app on my brief breaks. With the exception of one pairing (green on blue), I’m able to consistently hold my own against the AI at this point and am itching to have actual human opponents. Here’s hoping they get online multiplayer sorted out on Android soon!
I played some Metal Slug with my brother for maybe an hour… the weekends, they’ve been busy!! Two upcoming weekends of DnD coming up though, so I’m excited about that!!
Picked up Jungle Speed last Friday at Toys R Us for $11 on clearance, I was like sure it’s cheap. I was able to play it with my cousins the day after and it ended up being a hit. Literally, that totem was smacked around flying all over the place. We also got to play some rounds of Dixit and Bang after all that.
Day 3 at PretzCon – played in a Kniziathon and took first place! First time playing Beowulf, Gem Dealer, High Society, Ingenious Challenge, Black Sheep x2, Samurai, and Money – won all but Black Sheep (2nd) & Samurai (2nd). Finished the day with a 5-player game of Alien Frontiers & expansions. *whew* great weekend!
Played a game of Summoner Wars with my 17 year-old nephew and it was an extremely close game with my Benders just barely (after a daring risk) won against his Tundra Orcs. Then we played a game of Tooth & Nail Factions with the Alliance rules and Dogs of War added. First time not playing the basic game and it add more with the Alliance rules. I won fairly handily as my factions were able to gain cards from his discard pile or hand and he couldn’t replenish his own deck, not to mention he removed a lot of cards in his command zone from the game to use their abilities.
Finched picked up Pandemic: On the Brink today so we played a two of the new game types (we had to keep reminding ourselves to use the new job abilities). Also introduced Flash Point to a couple of people.
My wife’s birthday was this weekend and she likes to play “Dinosaurs of the Lost World”. This is an old Avalon Hill game that is most likely out of print. The objective of this game is to escape the lost world by exploring and avoiding getting eaten by dinosaurs. Once a player has 25 Victory Points he or she can attempt to escape if the conditions are right. This is a fun game even if you lose.
Probably going to get some more City of Remnants to the table!
This weekend we’ll break out the 5-6 player expansion to Lords of Waterdeep and play some Dominion too.

Had people over playing Carcassonne with 6 expansions. Was a lengthy play… 🙂
