Martin, Hive looks like a chess with insects on a board that is invisible.

I think this would give an approximate description of the game.

Hive looks like an amazing game! I have not played chess in forever. This could be a welcome change up!

Two great games.

Hive, differentiated by theme.

Twilight Struggle for being one of the greatest games of 2 people.

Twilight Struggle just went on my Christmas wishlist! Awesome discovery!

I’ve been wanting to get Hive and this just keeps my interest up for it.

I still have no desire to play Twilight Struggle simply for how it looks. I know that’s a bad way to decide if I should play a game or not but that’s just how it is for now.

Both 2 player classics. Played Hive a couple of times – mental workout! TS is so well ranked on BGG but I’ve never completed a game, either, @Urosh. The hard thing about wanting someone who would like to play who isn’t already an expert.

@Urosh: You’re not only one to have not heard of Hive, but it does look interesting. I might try to track down a copy and test it out sometime.

Really like the look of Hive, I’d like to give that one a go. Twilight Struggle looks interesting but is a bit too long for us – we tend to enjoy games that take around 60-90 minutes so we can get a few different ones in!

Apparently, everyone else has heard of Hive (and played it several times) except for me. Sounds interesting though.

I enjoy Twilight Struggle and heartily agree with Fluffy Goaty, who commented that you’re better off having someone who enjoys this type of game before purchasing it. So far, I have taught it to a few people, but never played a full game. 🙁
