@Jeff W. – Chris from Games Hate Me stated that they won’t have any copies of Compounded at Gen Con. Your best bet to pick it up without risking retail sell out is the upcoming Kickstarter.
Compounded is a game I’ve been keeping my eye on — if there is a presence at GenCon I’ll see if I can pick up a copy.

Compounded is a charming little game. Thanks for mentioning the Kickstarter. I will take a look even though I should be avoiding all Kickstarters at the moment.
They both look like interesting games. I’ve had Compounded on my wishlist for a little while but in line with the above comments, I haven’t been able to find it in stock (I haven’t tried desperately though as there are plenty of other games on my list) 😛
And thanks for Citadels – yet another one I need to try – looks like my style!
Compounded doesn’t really do it for me. I enjoy it enough, but not on my short list of game choices. I have a couple people in my main tabletop group that love it and that is more then enough reason for me to play it with them. After all its about who you are playing with. In the end I have memories of what we were joking about, etc. but the games have became backdrop at this point.
Yeah thanks for the KS update on this game. I’m sad I missed this game, and now’s my chance to get it again. My father was a chemist and HS Chemistry teacher, before retiring. He always wanted to play something with a concept he could grasp…not being a fan of Fantasy or Zombies has left him wanting. This looks perfect for him.
@Palidin, Thanks for the scoop on the Compounded expansion! I’ll definitely be backing that!
@Granny — I just asked Chris from Dice Hate Me on BGG — he said he personally runs his own KS projects and only uses GS for fulfillment. Pledge away!
@Paladin I will be signing up for that as well! Doesn’t Game Salute do all their games? They take forever to get their games out, but I always get them (fingers crossed). The biggest problem with Dice Hate Me is they sell out overnight, so I will suffer with Game Salute issues for a Dice Hate Me game… but rarely other games.
@Granny – As it turns out, there will be a Compounded expansion Kickstarter launching this Friday that includes an option for getting the base game. If it’s launched by Dice Hate Me I won’t be able to click fast enough. If it’s a Game Salute Kickstarter, I’ll probably hold off until retail.
@ Paladin I believe you can preorder Compounded at Game Salute right now. I’m not sure the timeframe for delivery.
I’ve WANTED a copy of Compounded for months, but nobody has it available, so I’m assuming it’s OOP.
Two great games…
Compounded is yet another clever game from Dice Hate Me. There use of unique themes keeps me watching. The excellent game play keeps me buying. I will try and review this on the next day or two.
Citadels is a classic. There are other card games I like more nowadays, but we played the heck out of this game when it came out (wore out the first copy). I’ll never turn it down if someone else suggests it. It will continue to stay in my collection, and I can’t see it leaving. Not many games can stand the test of time.
Please take the time to review Compounded if you’ve had the chance to play it, since it currently only has a couple reviews. (The games featured this week are aslo a couple of my personal fovorites!)
