So we’ve got a decent list of games we want to play this weekend. At the top of that list is Zombicide and a print and play version of Story Realms.
Below is a photo of what you get with the Story Realms print and play download (it’s on their kickstarter page, and it’s free!). I’m especially excited because I’ve never playd an RPG like D&D or Pathfinder, and Story Realms seems like a fun and welcoming way to enter into that space.

What are you playing this weekend?
Tonight starts a long weekend of Pathfinder, but I’m sure there will be time for some Ascension and hopefully some Lords of Waterdeep too.
I also need to develop rules for The Lords of WaterClue. And yes, that sounds exactly as amazing as it should sound.
Kaleb,
Wow, I hadn’t realized Nuke-Con was still around, that’s good to know.
I have the “print” portion of the PnP Story Realms down and may see about getting at that second P (if I can get it all assembled). Hopefully some Netrunner (original or new) will find its way to the table. Mage Knight sounds like a good way to spend the weekend as well.
My schedule for this weekend is not likely to be all that conducive to game-playing, but I’m still hoping to get a few things in. Magic is currently the most likely contender, but if I’m lucky I should be able to get in one or two other things like Pandemic or Castles of Burgundy (which has but one sad, lonely play at this point in time for me).
My DnD group is getting back together this weekend as they delve further into a potential rats nest of plot points and after that we might try and tackle the final quest of The Hobbit and the Balrog. Lookin forward to it, Saturday can’t come soon enough!
Heading over to Nuke-Con in Council Bluffs, IA for a variety of board games this weekend. I invite anyone in the area to check it out here! I’m also hoping to give D&D Waterdeep a first try and revisit Village.
Tonight playing X-Wing with wife. Hopefully I can break my Imperial losing streak that is frustrating me. Hopefully I’ll get her to finally play Tournay because I haven’t played it yet. Then on Sunday prior to football I’ll be playing some Battle of Westeros.
Looking at A Game of Thrones LCG tonight, possibly some Sentinels of the Multiverse. Tomorrow an epic game of X-Wing and maybe some others once that wraps up.
Games we bought and didn’t play yet. Domaine is one that should see play, if the wife is in the mood. Dominion: Dark Ages might be a possibility as well. Tichu definitely.
Not a lot of gaming time this weekend, but we might squeeze in a quick Belfort before we head off to see Patton Oswalt in SF;)
I’m hearing a lot about Story Realms coming out, and it DOES sound interesting. I am hoping that it comes out hard and doesn’t let up. For this weekend, I have a number of lengthy games planned, like Mage Knight, Arkham Horror, Civilization, and possibly the Ghost Stories challenge. Later on in the week, multiple sessions of Pathfinder are in the works.
I’m expecting a delivery of the old Titan Quest PC game today to play tonight. The boyfriend and I will be heading to the local Renaissance Faire this weekend and there may be a game of Mercs played sometime… I will be doing the watching and learning (or heckling) for that one.
