Ended up playing a lot of different games on Saturday: DC Deckbuilding, Guildhall, Settlers of Catan, Trains, and Hex Hex, although most of the games by the latter’s publisher (Smirk and Dagger Games) aren’t in the BoardGaming.com library. Any chance we can get the rest of the S&D Games added so we can add reviews/tips and log plays?
I only got to play some Elder Signs: Origins, but I soon hope to be playing “Golem Arcana”! The Kickstarter for it looks amazing and it closes soon: http://kck.st/1d2cHzR
Costume Game night! 45 showed up – one of the largest events yet.
Games played: Hanabi (first time, great game!), Viticulture, Downfall of Pompeii, 7 Wonders, Cards Against Humanity, Gift Trap, City of Death, Munchkin Pirate Booty, Pandemic, Werewolfe, Discount Salmon, Formula D, Battlestar Galactica, & more!
Costumes included: Stone Age & expansion tribesman (our winner!), Mr. Monopoly in jail, 5 Pandemic characters, 2 Dread Curse pirates, 1 Jamaica pirate, Doug from Zombicide, 2 gangsters from Nothing Personal, Gypsy (Crock maker) from Agricola (well, she looked like lots of characters from it), and Jareth from Labyrinth. Fun times!
@Jim Well, it is something to look forward to. Everything is very cool… and now provides a seemingly limitless game experience. I like to warm up with a little Walking Dead. Season 4 starts tomorrow!!!
Most of what I’m playing this weekend is audio editing in Logic Pro X (a game that always makes me feel like a winner), however I’m going to coerce my wife into some Sentinels of the Multiverse too.
Fortunately, (or Unfortunately as you may perhaps see it) I will be doing Elder Sign demos all day at work tomorrow. I doubt I’ll have any other gaming going on :/
So far, I’ve played Tom Lehmann’s The City, Phil Walker-Harding’s Sushi Go!, and Richard Walter’s Googlified retheme (Google Datacenter Manager) of Michael Rieneck’s Palastgeflüster.
I would love to hear what works for you. My son is 13 months old, and I’m chomping at the bit to start playing games with him. I have one matching game waiting for him to get a little older (a Dr. Suess theme), but would love other types of games to introduce to him around 2 years old.
Stone Age .. is there a game that could again be explored!
Had to play the games I got for my birthday. Bohnanza, Survive!, and Pylos. Survive is going to get a lot of playtime in my house.
Played Star Trek Attack Wing and Stone Age (with Style is the Goal expansion).

Found an old Reiner Knizia title – Minotaur Lords, at a rummage sale for a buck. Going to give it a try.

So far Serenissima(orig. ed.), Lords of Waterdeep-Skullport; Lehavre plus whatever I end up with today.
@Granny, I’m so jealous 🙂 I just got my shipmemt notification for Zombicide 2, so it’s probably a week out before our epic survival adventures begin.
Descent second edition and Shadows over Camelot or Terra Mystica.
I just received Zombicide 2 and all the extras from Kickstarter. I will be cracking some heads this weekend… yes!
Managed to get a game of Smash Up in over tea and cake.

Castaways … I sure wish boardgaming.com had a page for it!

Hoping to get in a little DC Deck Building this weekend.
