We got in lots of gaming over the holidays, our highlight had to be Star Wars: Imperial Assault. It can be a bit more intense since it’s one vs. many and we typically play fully cooperative games in our group, so we’ll probably take a bit of a break and make our way through some hordes of zombies in Zombicide to build back the comradery, or possibly try the hard mode in Dead of Winter (keeping it fully cooperative).

@ Hai…are you still gluing Shadows of Brimstone miniatures?
I just finished gluing the second core set… Next time(wish it never comes) I will use cement plastic instead of glue.
And now I want to start painting miniatures….
Happy gluing to you
Weekend at home playing games
Shadows of Brimstone
Hyperbora
and every game that the family want to play
Our monthly game night is this weekend, but it’s not our turn to host, so I’m not picking the games- not sure what’s on the menu, but I can’t wait to find out! My friend got me Munchkin for Christmas, but it didn’t arrive in time, so I’m supposed to get it this weekend too. I hope it’s awesome!
I’ve been asked to bring some games over for family gathering and it will be wits & wagers, ca$h n guns 2 & snake oil.
Colt Express – Cuba – Isla Dorada 😀
Some of our Usual Gang of Idiots (® Mad Magazine) are not only out of town, but out of the country this week, so our numbers are down. Going to break out new stuff as possible. Scoville is burning to get to the table. 😀
I’m psyched to try out Paperback – I was inspired by this site to buy it, and now videos have me YEARNING!
Today was a round of Kickstarter Christmas as apparently ‘Everything to do with Alien Frontiers arrived today. I didn’t back it, but I guess The Boy felt the need to go ‘full tilt dice ships’ at some point. A satisfying hour unpack and sort and I usually dread the weird Game Salute tuck boxes, but the ones they included for the components were very handy. Shmexy!
Wrath of the Cosmos arrived this week so that is going to be hitting the table like Bane on Bruce Wayne’s back.
Speaking of which DC DB: Forever Evil arrived today unbeknordered to me. (I wonder if I was supposed to open that.)
On the Docket:
WRATH OF THE COSMOS
Gaming Group will be beginning Imperial Assault
Most likely a game or two of Lords of Waterdeep to try Skullport (Euro Shameface)
I guess Forever Evil (I like the sound of this VP chip tug of war)
Some hat gluing
I know December was a much slower Kickstarter Christmas than last year (although that hot pepper game seems to be running hot) but according to some update scans it seems January will be keeping the postman busy.
