Yesterday (like four hours ago) I played Tzolk’in: The Mayan Calendar (review will be up this Monday on YouTube) and on Sunday I’ll be doing some dungeon-crawling in one form or another – either from playing D&D: Castle Ravenloft or Order of the Stick: The Board Game. Looking forward to it as I truly enjoy these types of games!
This weekend, no games.
I’m going to read a new cyberpunkish/fantasy novel entitled: ALIF THE UNSEEN.
I’ll try to get an Android:Netrunner game in on OCTGN.
Happy Weekend Everybody!! 🙂
I’m going to run a demo of Escape:Curse of the Temple this weekend. Well, I’ll probably run more than one since it only takes 10 minutes! After that, I’m not sure. I’d love to get a game of 3012, Ticket to Ride, or Dominion in but we’ll see.
Game group tonight, bringing “Legendary” along. I think we might begin a “The One Ring” campaign, since we made our characters last week and had a mock battle.
Over the weekend, hoping to try “Dungeon!” with my family, and some more Legendary!
I am going to be playing A Game of Thrones (card game), Call of Cthulhu and Warhammer Invasion. Then I am going to review each game and compare them to each other 🙂 Hopefully I have time to play a couple games of alien frontiers or escape even though they’ve been seeing a lot of action lately.
Good luck on getting/playing Space Alert, I find it well worth the effort. Make sure to get your players to agree to play more than just the training scenario, it’s sad to see people not get to fully appreciate the game because of the ease and limited interaction the training scenario neccessitates.
I’m guessing we’ll play some more Legendary. A group has also been trying to decipher the rules to Age of Conan, we may take up that fight again this weekend. If the King of Tokyo expansion shows up soon enough, we should be putting that through its paces as well!
We’re planning a bit of a games afternoon tomorrow, so there could be a good bit of playing happening. The choice of games will be mostly aimed to fit with the four kids that will be around, but there may be a few more grown-up games going. Main predictions are Castle Panic, Forbidden Island, Catan Junior, Ticket to Ride, Ave Caesar and Castle Keep. It’ll be interesting to see how many of those I am right about.
I am on the brink of buying and testing Space Alert this weekend. I found it through the Game Exploration Quest and cannot stop thinking about it. It seems like a great game.
Id like to be playing my new purchase – Ghost Stories – even though ill probably get a couple of games in it will be solo, I really need to get my pregnant girlfriend involved!
Afterall she’s going to have a lot of time on her hands when the babie’s born, she could send that time wisely and learn all the rules to Descent, Arkham Horror, Ghost Stories, Lord of the Rings LCG etc etc
what do you think?!?!
Daddy and daughter date. Starbucks, hot chocolate and Forbidden Island!
Hopefully more Mage Wars. That game is awesome. I’ll let you guys know soon after I play them…
I’ll be playing Ingenious and Power Grid when possible!

Descent, and possibly either Seasons or Mansions of Madness. I’m missing a big mess of Arkham Horror and expansions taking up an entire room, though.
