We played a game of Power Grid last night that was a ton of fun. This weekend will probably involve some lighter card games with family.

Have a couple friends coming over tomorrow night for some Munchkin Quest. Might try coaxing them into some Epic Spell Wars … Skullzfyre (Geez… as much as I already want an expansion, I dread the appended name).
Picked up Tsuro on someone’s recommendation, but haven’t cracked it open yet. Might get the kids to try it with me.
this week is party time! Big party, lots of gamers coming, hopefully, lots of games to be played. I’m thinking we’ll play some Ticket to Ride, some Settlers of Catan, maybe Say Anything (way better than Apples to Apples). and we’re going to try a new party game, Cards Against Humanity, which looks awesome. It’s going to be a good weekend!
HEROSCAPE! Going to a tournament tomorrow near Baltimore. I expect to get in 5 rounds, not to mention a couple of practice games today.
@decimit: you should try Last Night on Earth. It’s a blast, but you need some players that are willing to laugh and enjoy the whole “this could only happen in a horror movie” thing.

Going to get in some Quarriors and Settlers of Catan while my friends and I roll up characters for an upcoming Exalted game.
Hoping to get a game of Fiasco going. Also thinking about picking up a new game. Possibly Small World, or Last Night on Earth.

We’re planning on playing a round of Bang! with the family, and then probably breaking out Carcassonne. My kids love both of them.

Heading home to the big IL this weekend. We’ll play some games with the family. Also planning to stop at a game store on the way. Hopefully I’ll find something that tickles my fancy.
I am working my way through 10 (Count ’em) 10 Looney Pyramid games. I am going for that coveted status of “Starship Captain” Ice Dice, Launch Pad 23, Martian Coasters and World War 5 to start…
