@Ecole I was just saying that you obviously put quite a bit of efforts into your reviews and gaming and while there are a good number of native French speaking ‘live action’ members, some of your audience might be missed without a translated accompaniment. 🙂

Of course, when the Ghost Squad assembles it isn’t for quality as much as up-thumb quantity. 5 sentences and no-rating-necessary makes the grade these days.

I took four years of french in school, and today I can say*o, goodbye, count to five and utter one obscenity.

Ah, wasted youth.

What a lovely surprise to see some of the games selected from my shelf brought up here! 🙂 I’m glad Sheriff and Fresco have been chosen! They are so amazing and I love them both. I hope it will be an opportunity for you all to learn more about these games! 🙂

I heard some of you were talking about french people and their reviews? :O

These two are lovely games, and I would like to try each of them.

Perfect timing! Just dusted off Fresco recently for a play. It was still fresh in my mind so I decided to put together a review. It’s a good game.

Sheriff of Nottingham is on my ‘must try’ list.

@Stratagon SHHH! Are you crazy? Do not summon him! In multitude no less. I must bear that Scarlet Scrabble Tile on my own and wish you not to be tarred by the same brush!

Great to see Sheriff up there! (Hope it will push me over the Professional Reviewer badge!). It keeps surprising me just how much fun it is and how confused it leaves everyone during scoring as the game seems to reward all the least fun strategies.

Look forward to learning more about Fresco!

I don’t remember to much of the French I learned in high school, but I have a pretty good guess what “de Jack les downgraders” might mean.
