- Keyflower
Game Salute, Huch and Friends | Published: 2012 - Manhattan Project
Minion Games | Published: 2012
These games will be explorable until next Monday, July 20th
Hadn’t heard of Manhattan Project until now. Looks like an interesting game and worth giving a whirl.
Great picks Chopper Dan. Keyflower looks like a complex, nifty Euro. I also look the look and theme of Manhattan Project.
Keyflower is a good game. It gets to the table every so often in my gaming group.
Haven’t played Manhattan Project, but I would like to give it a try.
Hurrah! I am biased of course, but what a good choice this week.
A pity that my partner will not play Manhattan Project with me, but it is a good game.
The official game site to MP is a broken link.
Okay, Just looked at Keyflower, looks awesome, how have I not heard of this?
Manhattan has been on my radar for a little while but haven’t gotten around to fully looking it up. I can now and get points for doing so, thanks.
Manahttan is a great worker placement game, and actually a family friendly bomb making game 😉
I’ve read the rules to Keyflower but just hasn’t gotten around to get it to the table. Maybe this week can renew the urge for playing it.
Well surprise, surprise! Look who’s the highlight this week 🙂
I’m not much of a reviewer, but I may have to submit something for these two games. I’ll see what I can do to expound on why I enjoy these two so much.
I have never played either but glad so much material could explain, as worker placement games are not my favorite. I did enjoy all reviews, really got a good sense of the games in depth without playing.
It appears the Explorables have finally gotten to the CHOPPER (Dan) – so congrats on being this week’s Sacred Shelf Spotlight. If you stop by – feel free to share why these are your faves.
Manhattan Project has been on my short list of new worker placement grabs since @SockDrawerMonster and @Pookie talked it up but I keep getting sidelined by other boxes full of cardboard.
Keyflower: I have so far missed the boat and I will probably continue to let it sail on without me for longer. I get leery when people whisper the words ‘house’ and ‘auction’ in tandem and I always become suspicious at interesting-yet-vague single word titling as a sure heavy Euro billboard. Carcassonne has left me a Scarr’dassonne.
Pfeffernuesse! I like the cookies but slide a box with that emblazoned on the front across the tabletop and I just can’t wash them down with a glass of Embrace the Cube kool-aid.
Played Manhattan Project on Wednesday – thank you for this, as there’s more reason to read about it 🙂
