This Week’s Explorable Games
This round of Explorable Favorites is from BoardGaming.com member Tyjenks. The games selected from their Favorites shelf were:
- Arcadia Quest
Cool Mini Or Not | Published: 2014 - Dungeons & Dragons: Dice Masters Battle for Faerûn
WizKids | Published: 2015
These games will be explorable until next Monday, January 4th
Congrats Tyjenks! This finally gave us a good excuse to delve into our Arcadia Quest campaign and it proved to be a lot of fun!
Arcadia Quest has some vibrant components and nice minis. D and D Dice Masters: Battle for Faerun seems like another great addition to the Dice Masters series. I really need to play one of them: Way to go Tyjenks!
@ Hai HA, I didn’t even notice that. Silly me. I need to learn to read more. 🙂
I don’t think I would bring Dice Masters to a group either. It is a great two player game, but unless you are going to split everyone up, I don’t think it is ideal for a group game night.
Arcadia Quest on the other hand…pure fun and a lot of working together against other people, but then guarding against others. A lot of push and pull. If you gang up on one person, another will certainly fly under the radar and win the scenario.
Thanks for recognizing my games!!!
Arcadia Quest has been on my wishlist for quite sometime. I really, really want to give this game a try. It seems like it’s what I wanted SDE to be.
D&D: Dice Masters looks alright. However, dice games do not go over well with my gaming group.
@Tyjenks Well I hope they are your favorites 🙂 Congrats on being this week’s Sacred Shelf spotlight
Two of my favorites!!! Excellent choices. Arcadia Quest feels like a PC Action RPG successfully translated to a board game and D&D: Dice Masters brought the fantasy theme I wanted with the Dice Masters mechanics.
