This Week’s Explorable Games
Since it’s the holiday season, we thought we’d feature some favorites for kids and families. If you’ve got games you think are perfect for the whole family, please mention them in the comments below! Here are this week’s explorable games:
- Tobago
Rio Grande Games, Zoch - Survive: Escape from Atlantis!
Stronghold Games - Catan Junior
Mayfair Games (was explorable a couple weeks back, but it’s here for anyone that missed it) - Dixit Journey
Asmodee (The original Dixit was already explorable, but this version has also been very well received, and seems to be the one on the shelves of the big box stores this holiday season.)
These games will be explorable until next Monday, December 30th.
After you’ve explored these games, let us know what you think about them in the comments below!
More Dixit… aff… ¬¬
Interestingly, I did the game exploration for Dixit Journey this week, and today I used a gift card to pick it up when I saw it in the store. I would have passed on the game normally.
An exploration at Christmas.
Interesting.
Just got Tobago out again this month. Great gateway game and nice change from the more well-known games. Survive tends to get less play because of the cut-throat nature.
Whoops. You are correct Urosh. I just added Tobago to make up for the repeat of Catan Junior 🙂
Discovering that they remade “Survive!”, a game that I played frequently when I was a child and forgot about completely until today, is why I love this web site.
Stronghold Games would probably thank you for the money I’m about to fork over for the game and all of the expansions, too.
At first, I was thinking there was a mistake, because we had Catan Junior as explorable just a week or two ago…then I decided not to say anything because we had 3 games instead of 2…then I changed my mind and mentioned it…
…and here we are.
Good reminder that I was going to get a Dixit game with holiday gift money.
