Submit the info we need for your favorite games.
Part of the process that can take a lot of our time is finding accurate and detailed information about each game. With the help of registered users, we hope to greatly increase the rate that we add games to the site!

I like that idea. Rewarding with treasure, especially as the customization options continue to grow.
@ Jim ~ A few hundred (or whatever) gold would be easy enough. I think my ticker is stuck at 1850 for some reason, on a(n un)related note.
A financial reward would allow those deserving contributors to further customize their profiles.
I haven’t even read (yet) about how we can help to add games, but I’m super happy that this is a feature! Boardgaming.com just earned enough experience to hit the next level!
@pookie, I really like that idea. The key for us is creating a way to reward users, without taking much of our time. That probably sounds a bit selfish, but the whole idea of users helping add game info is to save us time, so we can get games up faster… and we really appreciate that help. That being said, we do want to reward users for their help.
Instead of rewarding contributors gold and XP when they suggest a game, how about the reward being given when the game is accepted by boardgaming.com?
Flood is probably a pretty dang accurate idea for what could happen.
Not only does opening up the works to users being able to help mean you guys can get more games up, but it also works as a way to interview the quality of the work people do when you need to start looking for additional help.

You guys are doing *great* with all the games you’re adding. It no longer feels like I’m in a sandbox; when I look around at the games I have, many or most of them are in here now.
