Keeping the debit plastic warm this week…
Dungeon Scroll because Scrabbleheads need a Dungeon Crawl and Dungeon Crawlers need a Speller besides ‘FIREBALL!!!!!!…ow…’ I also need a word game aside from Unspeakable Words
Arcadia Quest gets a nod and a wad with a pledge and the expansion (Well, The Boy is putting it on his card, as I’m still holding out for Super Dungeon Explore. We’ll just line up armies of the overly cute on either end of the table and glare at each other.) We’ll sort out the little add-on doo-dad figures in Pledge Manager and hopefully Cool Mini Million can keep their Zombicide tactic of ‘We just gave you this for FREE! FREE! FREEEEEEEE!!!! …oh…and here’s something for 10 bucks…’ down to a dull roar 🙂
Riding Westerly out until the end of the Wagon Trail and supporting the Local Boys…this should land me in Topeka
Epic Resort gets a Remind Me star to be dealt with another week. The combination of worker placement and deck building intrigues…
Currently backing Tower, Mage 20th, and Pay Dirt. Pay Dirt is from the designer of one of my favorite games, Alien Frontiers, and combining two of my favorite mechanics, Auction/Bidding & Worker Placement (see also: Keyflower).
I am considering MERCS: Recon, but I’m not sure if the value’s there yet for the $120 level, especially after going all in on Mage 20th.
A successful Final 48 to Migration and @Doublebanjo
It’s great that Jamey is getting so much love for Viticulture! Tuscany is a great expansion pack with quality components. I highly recommend all of his games.
Curious why Westerly continues to get no love. Too corny? Too much flavor text & randomness & not enough game?
And Zombiecide makers are scoring big again with Arcadia. Crazy how each character seems unoriginal, yet super popular. Don’t get me wrong, it still looks fun.
So many great looking games have come out recently! I definitely have to reign it in this month. I’m all in for Migration and The Ancient World. Thank goodness my brother already pledged for Tokaido. Whew!
The board games on kickstarter seem to come in waves, and this wave is a “Maverick”!
