I thought I’d mix things up and throw out a new question.
Speaking from my own experience, I’ve had many game nights where I pulled out a game that the group wanted to play, that fit the number of players, or what we felt would be the most fun. There’s nothing wrong with that, but there are plenty of games I wish I was playing that for whatever reason don’t make it to the table.
Here are my top three games I wish I was playing:
• 7th Continent
• Galaxy Defenders
• Myth
What games do you wish you were playing this weekend?
With Restoration Games starting to publish old games from the ’80s I would like to play Legend of Camelot; Galaxy Command and Thunder Road.
My wishlist for the weekend was to play Lords of Waterdeep with my wife and parents. Instead I only had time for a game of Azul.
I am also keen to play Clans of Caledonia and Scythe.
I wish I were playing:
The Castles of Burgundy, Duelosaur Island, and Glass Road.
1) Settlers of Catan
2) Battlestar Galactica
3) Galaxy Trucker
Quite frankly I was happy to play anything this weekend. Have been so busy lately haven’t done much gaming. Managed to get Lord of the Rings, LCG (2x) & Flash Point: Fire Rescue with Second Story expansion (4x) to the table on Friday evening. First time got the Second Story expansion to the table even though I’ve owned it for years.
Varied for as many reasons-Schlacht der dinosaurier;dark tower(soon to be re-released;scythe. This list while short does grow and shrink over time.
My I wash I was playing list is as always
1) Castles of Burgundy
2) Brass Birmingham
3) Puerto Rico
4) Scythe
5) Crusaders Thy Will Be Done
Oh, a tough one.. my wish list is always longer than I can actually play. But to narrow it down to just five…
1) Blood Bowl
2) Frostgrave
3) Fortune & Glory: the Cliffhanger Game
4) Zombicide (Modern, Black Plague, Invader)
5) Tiny Epic… something
I have more in mind… but that’s at the top of my wish list right now.
