This weekend we’ll be playing Hollywood by Hobby World as we finalize our review for its upcoming kickstarter campaign. We’ll also be playing City of Iron by Red Raven Games.
We finally got to play Scoundrels of Skullport, just the Undermountain expansion for now. Then we played (and won!) a game of Pandemic. That rekindled our interest in co-op games and we spent an hour or so looking for a new one at our FLGS. Unfortunately they’re sold out of Ghost Stories and Mice and Mystics 🙁 Anyone play Yggdrasil? Any good?
I got in more gaming this weekend than I had the previous 2 weeks combined. I played Ancient Terrible Things x2, Alien Frontiers and Heroes of Metro City.
Game night! Had 35 over for games last night and tested out some new game tables we built (a 6-sided “skinny” hex tabletop) that worked out very well for a 7-player game of BSG, Liar’s Dice, and barely fit all for Shadows over Camelot.
Other games played included: Euphoria, Bruges, Suburbia, Gravwell, Ultimate Werewolfe x2 (vampires won in our game of 30, werewolves in 2nd game of 18), Alien Frontiers x2, & Rampage.
Played some King of Tokyo, with both expansions and Also some Smash up with all three expansions. Fun games to play with the kids and anyone else for that matter. But the big thing I am doing gaming wise is planning out my Gencon activities! Already counting down the days!
Another monthly game night with the college age kids at my church. Still being invaded by the youth, some of which ditched their bon fire event to play games with us instead. Still 27 strong, even though I forgot to send out the invite reminder until the day before.
Games played: Carcassonne, Love Letter, Loopin Louie, 7 Wonders with Cities, Last Will, X-Wing, Zooloretto Dice, Dice Town with Expansion, YuGiOh, Trans America, and Resistance: Avalon.
Heoscape! Going to a tournament today, so I’ll get it at least four or five games of Heroscape. Afterwards, we’re hanging out to play some boardgames, so I’ll have to see what gets played.
Puerto Rico and Space Alert, though I have to finish reading all instructions for the latter before teaching it to the rest of the group..! Got ‘Troyes’ as well, but it seemed brain-burning just getting through the instructions, so didn’t manage to play last night..
Pandemic, Advanced Dungeons & Dragons, Talisman (plus expansions). Star Wars: X-wing should all hit the table this weekend. Maybe some DungeonQuest and Small World.
Finally, it looks like we will be able to get Battlestar Galactica to the table this weekend! I am excited. We will probably also play Saboteur 2 and/or other quick fillers as well.
Our local boardgaming club meets tomorrow and for once I’m going to be able to go. I’m not sure what we’ll play but there are loads of cool games to choose from. I’m sure that Rune Age will be one of the choices along the way.
Just got my copy of Eldritch Horror, and I am looking forward to playing it this weekend. Also picked up a copy of Marvel DiceMasters and having some fun playing with my son. I also promised my eight year old to play a game of Age of Mythology. A lot of games to get in this weekend, hope it gets in.
So it’s been Dungeon Roll and Roll Thtough the Ages so far. I also played the official PnP of Pleasant Dreams, a recent KS game. I played solo which was rad but I’m looking forward to playing with my wife.
For the rest of the weekend I’m planning on playing Spyrium and Dungeon Petz.
I’ll be playing some Magic: The gathering with the wife, who will also be playing some Magic in the shop with our daughter. Our 8 year old daughter has been playing since 4, and has now asked to play competitively in our local shop when we go. I’ll probably be painting some Super Dungeon Explore minis, as well.
The new Firefly expansion just arrived, so that is getting some serious play. Based on recommendations from this site I’ll be checking out Ghost Stories too.
Euphoria, Machine of Death, and Star Trek Deckbuilder TNG. Nice variety.

A couple of rounds of Love Letter and put some smackdown on Grand Warlord Voss in Sentinels of the Multiverse.
Got a copy of King of Tokyo this weekend and took that for a spin. Good times. I also got Claustrophobia, but have yet to play it.
I also picked up a copy of Kittens in a Blender, because, well, kittens in a blender.
Ghost Stories, Sentinels of the Multiverse, and some Hanabi. Plus lots of time spent trying to figure out what to play at GenCon.
Played Dominion – about 10 games. Kingsburg & Pandemic, which we won :-)for the first time.

I’ll finally get a chance to dig into Dead Panic with some friends tonight. I’m very much looking forward to that, as well as the standard SotM.
