@Stratagon EPIC GAME DAY QUIZ! (Why no love? Why no love?) I happen to like it and want it to stick around, so here goes…
Unfortunately, I woke up this morning with some sore of pink eye which makes my left eye light sensitive and really hate the monitor’s optic nerve blasting pixels. I will now do as little work as possible.
I will be playing (aka running demos of) Here, Kitty, Kitty! by Fireside Games at JohnCon in Baltimore this Saturday. I will also have some copies of other Fireside Games along in case anyone wants to give them a spin as well.
I might try out Freedom by Academy Games as well (on my own time).
A friend came over for Easter, so we ended up playing Settlers of Catan with the Barbarian expansion, both games using Fish rules. I won both games, which doesn’t happen often at all. I wanted to play some Tide of Iron, but I ended up with a full weekend and didn’t have time.
Happy Easter everybody. My family and I went away for the weekend and we took a few games with us, the games we played were The Builder: Middle Ages, The Little Prince, Uncanny X-Men Dice Masters, Batman Fluxx and Tsuro.
Been a long time since I played games now. My gaming group ran 3 quests of Warhammer Quest on friday. On sunday we where invited to lunch for some Kaleidos and Love letter.
Epic Game Day quotes (one from each game, can you guess them?):
1- Elrond lets me look at the top four cards of the deck and gain whatever Allies I find there.
2 – The Wastelanders have completed their tunnel! Now we can start stealing that sweet, sweet energy!
3 – Sarah, what do you like most about coming here?
4 – Van Helsing won’t last long all by himself in Leipzig.
5 – Real original guys. Keep putting Tom Zarek in the brig. I’m totally on your side. Why don’t you believe me?
6 – Is blue trying to find the guy that looks like Sweeney Todd? **Ghost knocks on table twice**
7 – Round One:”This is a television show. It is a spin-off of Cheers. It stars Kelsey Grammer” Round Two: “Cheers” Round Three: **pretends to drink form invisible mug**
In preparation of the upcoming KS finally being shipped next week we played 3 games of Defenders of the Realm with all the expansions including the original Dragon expansion. We lost all 3 games and the last one wasn’t close but we failed 3 times to kill a dragon, had 2 player character deaths and still came back and killed 3 dragons, and were setting up to take a shot at the other one when we lost on tainted lands.
I just bought the Star Trek TOS Deck Building Game and I’m getting together with a friend to try it out. I’ve gone over the rule book quite a few times and it looks like it’s going to be a lot of fun.
My nephews are coming up, so Timeline and Sushi Go! are definitely going to be on the table. I’m going to tap into their competitive nature and introduce them to Survive! Escape from Atlantis, too.
Played CV, Five Tribes w/ the artisans, Patchwork, and two games of Zombicide: Black Plague, we lost really quickly on the first one so thus a second game. Great gaming Saturday.
@stratagon Hmmm…LOTRDBG?
@Hai
Got all of them correct except for #1. But you are close.
Hope your eye is feeling better.
