We have a nice relaxed weekend with some new games to play including Darjeeling and Priests of Ra. We played Asteroyds during the week, which is a great game but possibly easier if you know your left from your right (which I don’t!). My son is completely addicted to Star Munchkin so that will almost certainly be on the table as well.
Firefly, if I can get a few friends over. We’ll probably supplement it with a couple of rounds of King of Tokyo… and maybe a first play with my 10th Anniversary set of Ticket To Ride!
Having some friends over tonight for games. Probably will play some MTG. And Shadow Hunters just came in the mail yesterday, so we’ll definitely be putting that on the table!
@Jared – I am intrigued! Looks like it was just released (not widely available yet), but I am going to do some digging around on Bedpans + Broomsticks. Thanks for the heads-up!
Bedpans + Broomsticks. It is the greatest concept for a board game ever. You play as wily elderly people trying to escape from a cruel nursing home. I cannot recommend it enough.
If Amazon delivers on time we just picked up the Castle Panic expansion Wizard’s Tower and because I can’t say no we added Kings of Tokyo. My hope is to play both of these with my family this weekend.
We also finally got in 2 games of Bang Dice Game last night with 6 players and it was so much more fun then 3 players, so if people come over this weekend I will bring that game back out.
And of course I would be surprised if Escape: The Curse of the Temple doesn’t make it onto the table for an hour or two.
I Just receive Helios and I really love to play it!
Either way, I´m planning to play, Bakong and Abandon Ship, lighter games to play with my friends and family! 😀
Oh, and maybe Elder Sign! To make things tense! jejeje 😉
Going to bring dice games (Martian Dice, Bang the Dice Game and Marvel Dice Masters) to the long weekend extravaganza. Canada Day on Tuesday = 4 day weekend!
We’ve been on a Legend of Drizzt kick so that and Sunday will be Zombicide Toxic City Mall!
If everything goes well, X-Wing and maybe some Sails of Glory as well
Will be interested to see what you make of Darjeeling, Cate. I bought that a couple of weeks ago and not had a chance to try it out yet!

Weekend #2 of dreaded car shopping is upon me, and I really hope to have it wrapped up by Sunday.
If time allows, I would love to play Terra Mystica. I’m not optimistic though.

Archipelago, Vasco da Gama, maybe some Puerto Rico & Fleet…. it’s going to be a heavy ship/exploration-themed weekend.
