Was at an area convention this weekend so I played/hosted several games including Defenders of the Realm, Heroclix, Splendor, Can’t Stop and Kingdom Builder.
Well, didn’t get much played boardgame wise on Father’s Day, but Friday and Saturday, I logged a lot of Codenames, But Wait There’s More, and Homestretch. Did get in a round of Dixit as well. Codenames was a huge hit with my mom and nieces. We probably got in about 17 or 18 games last week in 3 settings.
For Father’s Day, I did get a couple of promos. One for Caverna (water expansion) and one for Galaxy Defenders (vintage weapons set). I also got a really nice padded bag for toting my games that I’m excited to try out for our next gaming session at work. Cool bag! .
There’s a slim chance I might also receive a nice organizer for Castles of Mad King Ludwig that’s still being processed.
This weekend has been Eldritch Horror, trying out the new “Signs of Carcosa” expansion–which is fantastic, very well designed and Hastur is an extremely fun and fast-paced challenge.
Tomorrow, though not technically the weekend, will be some Betrayal at House on the Hill with a possible side order of Chez Geek or Once Upon a Time, depending on how many people are there.
Origins was a blast. Got to play full games of T.I.M.E. Stories, Sentinels of the Multiverse, Mystique, Zombicide: Toxic City Mall, Splendor, Takenoko, and Compounded. Now less than 2 months until Gen Con.
My wife and I played Splendor, and we split the games about 50%-50%. I played some Legendary Marvel with the Dark City expansion because I just can’t stop playing that.
And Atilla is a terrific little game, Dr. Cheesecake!
Played Napoleonic Wars tonight. Not sure what’s on tap for Saturday.
EDIT: Saturday was a good gaming day! Kingsburg w/expansion, 7 Wonders w/all expansions, Krosmaster Arena, Eldritch Horror w/expansions & Roll for the Galaxy w/expansion

Was tied up at Denver Comicon most of the weekend, but did get a little Father’s Day gaming in:
Wiz War – always a family favorite
Paradox – new game getting a lot of play recently

Splendor
La Isla
King of Tokyo
Sushi Go! (x2)
Back to the Future: An Adventure Through Time and Star Wars X-Wing (I am Your Father’s Day event).

Got 3 games in today, Splendor, Zombicide: Black Plague-first Wulfsburg quest, and learned Sheriff of Nottingham. Good little gaming day today.

Not much for gaming this weekend. Too bad. But what can you do.
Happy Father’s Day to all the Gamer Dads!!! 🙂
Played Qwirkle for the first time on Saturday. Really impressed with the game. So simple, but so good.
Freedom: The Underground Railroad beat us again. A couple of games of Dominion. I hope to get our June game of Pandemic:Legacy in.
My wife and I played Splendor, and we split the games about 50%-50%. I played some Legendary Marvel with the Dark City expansion because I just can’t stop playing that.

Tonight played Carcassonne (vanilla) and Attila by Blue Orange games (fun little abstract game for kids).
Rest of the weekend? Possibly nothing *cry*
