We’ve been playing City of Remnants and everyone has really enjoyed it, so that will be hitting our table this weekend in preparation for our full review. If we have time we’ll also be trying out Tokaido.
I am just about to go to the local game store and buy Mice and Mystics, which we are going to play tonight. I am very much looking forward to it; may it be as great as indicated by reviews!
Friday night I got in plays of Macao, Hanabi and The Resistance, which was all great, but I suspect that may be about it for this weekend. Though I wouldn’t be surprised if we get a bit of Love Letter in at some point.
I have a long list of games I’ll do my best to squeeze into the weekend. The top of the list includes: Police Precinct (first timing playing for us), Witch of Salem (looking forward to a first there, too), Zpocalypse, another round of our new copy of Belfort, Survive: Escape from Atlantis, Castle Panic w/Wizard’s Tower expansion, Trailer Park Wars (silly, good game if you haven’t played it yet) with a PnP playtest expansion deck, and Seasons.
My gaming group is going to have a co-op night in hopes of attracting some new people, friends of ours and non gamer coworkers. So we’re thinking of playing Castle Panic without the Wizards Tower expansion, Pandemic, Red November, and if there is time Shadows Over Camelot (with or without the traitor, we haven’t decided.). None of this is final though, and we might just end up siting down and playing something completely different.
@Andy Let us know if Goblins, Inc. is a worthy purchase. I believe Myth (on Kickstarter) is going to cause my wallet to burst into flames next week. Third wallet this year (sigh). Nevertheless, I will need to be more frugal from now on to avoid marital distress. :_0
This weekend, I will be camping, RV style, so will need games that can fit on those tiny tables. I will be bringing a lot of card games: Samurai Sword, Dixit, Cards Against Humanity (just got third expansion), and Sentinels of the Multiverse (we’ll see how that fits on a table…??). I just received City of Remnants, but will have to wait until next week to play that.
@endlsdremr Lifeboat is a good game. Do you mean the big game with wooden boats (Lifeboats)… or the smaller card game that is even more evil (Lifeboat)? I may need to bring that. I love games with lots of backstabbing. Does that make me a bad person? Granny says no.
Have a great Gaming Weekend everyone! Love, Granny.
I’m hosting April Epic Gaming Day this weekend. 10-20 hours of board games. Android:Netrunner and Battlestar Galactica are expected. Wits and Wagers and Space Cadets top my list for recommendation.
I’ve been wanting to finally break into Goblins Inc., so I’m hoping to make that happen this weekend.
Emboldened by finally finishing the all-black achievement in Ticket to Ride: Pocket, I’ve set my sights on my last unfinished achievement, win when claiming all orange routes.
I think Battlestar Galactica is going to get it’s debut during our monthly epic gaming weekend at our secret compound. Dozens of other games will also be available.
We’re finalizing plans to get a larger group of people together, which takes a lot more effort and coordination these days. With a bigger group, we’ll be playing the Eclipse expansion. With a smaller group, we’ll be trying out Guilds of Cadwallen. Add in a splash of a few smaller games like 7 Wonders, Carcasonne, etc.

Mice and Mystics
@finched picked up Mice and Mystics, so that’s what we’ve been doing all day.

Giza, maybe some Star Trek Catan, Flash Point, Pandemic…

I backed Walk the Plank! (Mayday Games) on Kickstarter and will be trying out a PnP version tomorrow for the first time. I’m excited about trying it.
Also plan on playing Pandemic and trying out Lifeboat. Would like to play Dread Pirate- but not many people know the game.
This weekend I most likely will be playing “Tikal” with my wife and “Day of Heroes” on vassal.
