Qwirkle is a family favorite when my mom is in town. We play it a lot along with Catan and Ticket to Ride.

Some of my earliest board gamming memories are of playing Scrabble. I have a few plays of Qwirkle too. So congrats to DaPinsker on having a new classic and a true classic for this week’s explorables.

Don’t play it as much anymore, but I will always love Qwirkle! It was one my first board games that started my addiction! 🙂

My parents love Scrabble. They play it ALL the time. I don’t have the patience for it though.

Good to see the classics haven’t been forgotten. Never heard of Qwirkle, will have to have a look.

I have always had a copy of scrabble on my shelf, and it gets played from time to time still.

Glad to see Qwirkle, never played, but seems like a fun game for family events.

I don’t think I’ve ever played Qwirkle. Scrabble on the other hand, played that one a few times.

Explorables travels through time today to 1948 and Scrabble and apparently brings back with it that lost Gregorian calendar week.

Curses! ONE bloody Explorable left for El Dorado!!!

Congrats DaPinsker! Qwirkle is a solid pick and regularly comes out of the cupboard when family visits.
