Congrats Palchinski!
I actually recommend the digital version of FI over the physical one, not only on the basis of being able to play it whenever, wherever, but for the price point. Often people I recommend games to are out of pocket when I force them to buy a library of Pandemic based items, so FI’s digital price tag is a far easier sell after all that wallet emptying!
I guess to be honest, I would rather buy and play the physical game of Forbidden Island myself and be able to hold the actual cards or move the actual game pieces around, instead of simply playing on an iPad. I suppose it’s easier for those who would like to carry the game around with them without having to deal with all the components.
Forbidden Island did not go over well with my gaming group. Not sure if that will see the table again soon.
Jungle Speed is very similar to a game I play with my girls called Spot It! We have a blast with it.
Yes, Jungle Speed looks very entertaining, but I know way too many competitive people to play. Forbidden Island always looks fun.
Congrats Palchinski! Jungle Speed seems like it would be an accessible party game, and Forbidden Island is always fun.
Jungle Speed looks like a great party game and one my wife would dig, will have to pick it up! Thanks.
