Glad I got in on King’s Forge while I could, I missed Dungeon Roll and ended up snagging the KS version off of eBay.
Go Robot Turtles! Looks like perfect timing for my soon to be 3 year old.
#Kaleb > Sounds great – and you’ll be more than welcome in the Burning Suns crowd…

We just got funded this night! How super epic is that 😀
Thanks for your interest guys, looking forward to get this game into your hands, so I can be the proud designer of a game reviewed here too 🙂
Best regards Emil
Some of these games look awesome. I am a coin collector as well, so what Conquistador Games has up there is really catching my eye!
I’m also very interested in Legends of the American Frontier – and in complete agreement with Dr. Wildcat. Almost funded – I believe it will make it!
@Emil, Thanks for the info and goodies! I tagged Burning Suns as one to revisit over the next week. I LOVE Eclipse and feel like I could delve into something 4x like what you’re selling. 🙂 Looks like you have a (funded) winner on your hands!
So Battle Merchants is back, hope thye do something with it I was intrigued last time round right up until the project was cancelled. Hope they learned their lesson and can make it right this time.
Keeping my eye on a few things here; Burning Suns looks great but at a much higher complexity than my usual gaming group(s) tend to play at. Might back it anyway just because it looks so good.
One I pledged in early and might back out of is Smash Monster Rampage. I’m not pleased with the lack of imagination of the game producers, particularly their (so far) ignoring of concerns regarding storage and durability (the buildings are meant to “store flat” and be re-folded for new sessions of game play), the assertion that the art is “top-notch”, and the wide dollar gaps between expansion stretch goals. I have seen many game Kickstarters do much more with less money than SMR, which is disappointing. Also, the “Rampager” pledge levels are good only so far as the expansion stretch goals get fulfilled, which is by no means a guarantee.
Yea! Great to see my board game creation – Burning Suns – among the chosen ones 🙂
I’m really looking forward to get on with this project – it’s been so great!
If you’re into epic sci-fi games, I would recommend you to take a look! or dive into our Dropbox of digital goodies.
Best regards Emil
I’m surprised Legends of the American Frontier hasn’t funded faster. I hope it gets some more love as I was impressed with the game demo that you can watch on the site. Components look fantastic and seems to offer a fun game with theme dripping out of its pores. Richard Launius is a proven designer as well.
