We played The Resistance at a family gathering on Thanksgiving Day. Hope to be able to do that again. It went over well and everyone had a lot of fun.

Meanwhile, I plan to to use some of my upcoming time off playing Eldritch Horror and Hidden Intruder. The beauty is that I can play either one of these solo if my family doesn’t want to. 🙂

My copy of Eldritch Horror should arrive Saturday. Hopefully I will give it a solo play during the latter part of the weekend.

With the family, I plan to get in a few games of Coup and Clue: The Great Museum Caper.

Rules understanding is the biggie for me. If I am an expert at the rules, I can often prevent the attention span issue. If I’m fumbling through rule books during the game…I lose even seasoned gamers sometimes.

Loving the game so far even though I have only played 2-player so far. The theme of surviving within a group of sometimes self serving characters amidst dangerous environments, possible betrayers, and flesh eaters is right up my alley.

Even while playing 2 player, I refuse to do co-op. We have been playing competitively using the secret objective cards despite the rules suggesting otherwise.

….and this baby is funded!! Now to work on reaching stretch goals!

The art is great, first off. The game play “sounds” like it is going to be a lot of fun. I also like that Christina (and others) were able to play the game at GenCon and really enjoyed it.

The Kickstarter campaign is really beginning to ramp up with hints of more freebies being included in upcoming stretch goals.
