This weekend we’re anxious to try out Tokaido, a game designed by Antoine Bauza (7 Wonders, Takenoko, Ghost Stories). We’ll also be playing Panic On Wall Street if we can get a larger group together.
What are you playing this weekend?
We play an hour or two of Magic: The Gathering every Friday night and then begin our adventures for the next 4-6hrs in Pathfinder!!
Hoping to get Mice and Mystics, DC Deckbuilder and Sentinels of the Multiverse to the table. Maybe Castles of Burgundy too!
The 22nd was my birthday, so I got a Doctor Who version of Monopoly and Red Dragon Inn. Will play both of those Sunday while watching the Oscars
The weekend took a slight turn when I was able to purchase King of Tokyo.
King of Tokyo
Forbidden Island (Tried to play with my Mother-in-law and Grandmother-in-law they had a hard time wrapping their minds around a coop game)
Digital Hey! That’s my Fish and Carcassonne
Tried out Tammany Hall and revisited Power Grid.
got a few smallworld in and a few forbidden island
I’m pleased to have finally got to play Eminent Domain this weekend. I very much enjoyed that and am looking forward to figuring out how to play it properly soon. Also we had our now customary Sunday evening Game of Thrones card game, plus a few other lighter games were scattered through the weekend.
I didn’t get to play anything I really wanted. But, I was able to play a game my buddy let me borrow, Witch of Salem. It is a pretty hard cooperative game with an Arkham Horror theme from Mayfair games. Sadly, the game is not in boardgaming’s database so I am unable to record the play.
I ended up playing four games of multiplayer Heroscape (didn’t win enough but had lots of fun anyways), followed by a game of Zombicide. All in all, a nice gaming week-end.
Learning Mage Knight. I’ve set the game up three times but haven’t taken a single turn yet. It’s okay, I’m just marinating in the rules and getting a lot of enjoyment out of the potential of this game.
Played Star Wars: X-Wing Miniatures Game and Star Wars: The Card Game (2 games) Friday, Ave Caesar and Frank’s Zoo Saturday and so far today, Mow. Maybe TransEuropa later.
