This Week’s Explorable Games
This round of Explorable Favorites is from BoardGaming.com member Berserkdingo. The games selected from their Favorites shelf were:
- Farmageddon
5th Street Games | Published: 2012 - Blokus
Mattel | Published: 2000
These games will be explorable until next Monday, May 4th
After you’ve explored these games, let us know what you think about them in the comments below!
@inmarg Ha ha! That was funny 🙂 I wouldn’t worry too much about Magic Realm rules as they are chaptered, introducing each new aspect of the game in segments with baby steps – literally! The first rule segment is a scenario that teaches you how to move. 😛
These sound like fun! Added both to my wish list.
When I was taught Blokus it was said that it basically had only one rule to care about. After my second move I had broken two… I placed my first piece so it didn’t touch my corner and my second piece I placed side to side and not corner to corner…
So what are the odds of me making it through the Magic Realm Rules now…
Blokus is one of the best mainstream games on the market. I will have to give Farmageddon another try, as it is just sitting in a drawer with about 50 other filler games. Sometimes…games just don’t make it into the rotation.
I’m not familiar with either title this week but I do know this:
With 5th Street going from Easy Street to belly up pool floating Gatsby style due to money management woes, bankruptcy, and many colorful unfulfilled empty promises – if you have Farmageddon or can find it you are one lucky pepper.
@Beserkdingo Congrats to you for having the spotlight shine on your Sacred shelf this week and thanks for sharing in the Metagame 🙂

I was surprised when I went to the Blokus page to register a game we had yesterday and saw the “Explore” tab…then something triggered and I came to the News tab to find out my favorite shelf was the one highlighted this week ^o^
Blokus is the first game I brought to the office and it was a blast right from Day 1.
I was very skeptical when a friend of mine brought Farmageddon, but after the first game I was hooked to it – the manure card was the MVP of every game, hahaha.
I hope you had the opportunity to try both of these games, they are really great, easy to learn and full of fun.
