I waited to unbox my Boss Monster Deux along with the video as it popped up on our Mail Watch list on the fridge and since it came yesterday – so be it.
I do enjoy Boss Monster the First as a decent little filler game even though it is a bit dry – but this expansion really does take it to the Next Level and adds to the fun and variety. Happy to mix in these cards.
Although it should be stated that the above is the Deluxo Kick Version and has extra cards from the campaign that are not retailing – including all those foily Boss Felons.
@Tom Beta tape. Definitely a Beta tape. I have to salute the Brothers One and Two or whomever does their packaging design – they are retro clever. The game boxes look like Nintendo products, the one expansion game in a cute Gameboy-esque box (so cute) and their pdf Strat Guide – well – nos to Nintendo Power.
At 0:11, I was certain a VHS tape would slip from the bottom of the box.
Love the original game, and was a backer for this Kickstarter of Boss Monster 2. I know they’re starting to ship this week, so very excited to unbox and play. Then combine with the first game, and play again.
