@Hai – I’m saying this is further proof that the Arcasam is a myth, yes.
@HaiKulture giggles
Fake or not, I’d definitely have sleeved my cards.
@Paladin I see – so you are saying it was a fake Arcasam?
@Hai I feel like maybe, considering the name, Arcasam was an elaborate gag from this guy. Once people got behind it and the numbers started climbing, and it was evident the project would be successful, he bailed for fear that he’d have to fulfill.
@Lone Token I am extremely sad I will not be getting an Arcasam. I wonder if they will re-campaign or if they just rolled over and went to sleep?
Even if peeps want to Kick the Starter to the curb, if you are a fan of Pathfinder ACG or the El-Cee-Gee I suggest you check out Apocrypha because that looks like a tasty card feast.
I discovered Orcs Must Die! last night.
And Norsaga.
And Posthuman is starting to look really good with all of the stretch goal freebies.
So much for clearing my queue.
I may have a problem.
Oups!!! Arcasam: Beat the dragon has been cancelled
The first one is always the best, and the worst.
The best because it feels so good to have your faith and support pay off, and to hold that box in your hands after such a long wait.
Bad because you then become addicted. If my first pledge gets me THIS kind of gratification, my 131st can only be better!
Interesting.
One Night Resistance just started last night.

At first I was conflicted. As you may have seen in a recent review I am not a fan of One Night Ultimate Werewolf. At all.
But after reading the rules, I feel like this game will be less chaotic and more deductive than it’s One-Night counterparts. Plus, as a Resistance-themed game and supporting ten players, it will be a big hit at parties.
$25 seems pretty steep, but I’m on board.
Looks like I will receive my first Kickstarter game in more or less a month since Dead Man Tell no Tales is on his way…
Fear not True Kicklievers Level 99 SHOULD be opening a pandora’s box of a campaign with Millenium Blades this week (the 17th?) a non-CCG card/board game about playing a CCG game. My minds says *intrigue* and my fists full of cashola says throw me at the monitor. The El-nine-nine is pretty much an instapledge for me.
@Granny Yup- I pretty much did a spit take on that one and then checked my Guide to Slovakian Euphemisms
I backed Arcasam: Beat the Dragon and PostHuman…I have nothing more in my starred project….I can breath a little… same for my wallet
Last month was crazy
@burgerchief What I like most about Richard/Rahdo is that he’s not usually TRYING to sell you on a game. 🙂 His intent is more demonstration and then, in Final Thoughts, his own evaluation of the game play. Designers of games like Trickerion even listen to his occasionally-insane ramblings and make changes (like a better 2-player mode) that enhance the game. Overall I’d say he knows what makes a good game and is somewhat humble in expressing his opinion, which is why it’s such a pleasure to watch his videos over some OTHER video reviewers that recently spent a significant amount of time crapping on him personally.
As for Train Heist and budgeting, I’m just irresponsible with money and couldn’t stand having no board game projects to check in on during my daily commute or while lounging on the couch late at night. I love co-ops, Train Heist seems to play two well enough, and the Wild West theme always gets my engine revving.
B-Sieged from CMON is coming later this month. Hopefully soon enough that I won’t back another game to satiate my Kickstarter addiction in the meantime.
@Paladin train heist is a game I would definitely get but I’ve already used up my board game budget for a while. Rahdo’s review sold me. That guy knows how to sell games.
I broke and backed Train Heist. It is the only game I’m backing right now.
Arcasam: Beat The Dragon
Does anybody hear what I hear when I say this out loud? Marketing choice?
I bet Car Wars Arenas gets some attention from those who saw or played the original 30+ years ago. A friend of mine had Car Wars in 1983-84, and I recall it being different than anything I had played until then. I also love the artwork on the box cover of The Titans of Gaming! Perhaps it is based on Ayn Rand’s lesser known work; Meeple Shrugged…
Orcs must die! is not included? I am making some research about it, and would like to hear comments if you have it
Anybody know more about Norsaga? It seems interesting to me.
I backed Soulfall. The art looks cool and the gameplay looks solid too.
