I am hoping to get some work buddies in for a maiden submarine voyage with Red November.

I’m definitely interested in Ninjato. I do seem to be on a Japanese themed game kick lately and I would hate to over do it. I would love to give it a try. However, if Takenoko was to complex for most of friends, I’m pretty sure this wouldn’t go over so well.

Got this last week after seeing that it picked up the 2013 Spiel des Jahres award. Instant hit with my group. We’ve already played it a dozen times. Trying to top that last score always keeps us coming back. I can keep it in my back pocket and bust it out at a moments notice.

Was hoping this would be a hit. We have tried twice with my group. Maybe due to distractions this game never really took off for us. It currently sits at the bottom of my stack. I hope we can break it out again with better results.

I played this with my nieces and my mom on a family visit. I spent the first round basically assisting everyones rolls but after that we had a blast. I think my mom enjoyed it the most. So, like a good uncle I left them with it.
