In exploration: if you draw a tile with a market on it and it would be placed next to another one,put the tile aside and draw another one,until there’s one with no market on it.Take all the tiles that was put aside and reshuffle them with the rest of unexplored tiles.Prevents 1 sector commerce route and adds more challenges for people that takes the merchant type side of the game.(these rules can be used for gates too)

Only for the engine outfit,because rolling a 1 sucks,we roll 2 dices.For engine tier 1:roll 2D6,choose the highest #.For tier 2:roll 1D8+1D6,choose the highest #.Tier 3:roll 1D12+1D8,choose the highest #.

1st house rule: We never declare heading before setting speed,it’s annoying and really easy to forget,never had a complaint about it.

2nd house rule: if you can’t or don’t want to set a navigation die before entering a navigation space,role the special die instead of the player to your left telling you where to go.More randomness to it and it’s arbitrary. Can be used with telegates and in both version(standard-classic)
