Battlestar Galactica: The Board Game
As an avid gamer and BSG television series fan, this game was fantastic. Not only do the high quality cards and pieces showcase iconic elements from the show, the gameplay mechanics mimic the intensity and suspicious nature of the show’s theme.
Unfortunately, both non-complex gamers and those who are unfamiliar with the show may quickly lose interest, as my gaming companions can attest to. Much of the game’s flavor is drawn from an understanding of the show’s events and characters; while entertaining for a fan, it leaves those unfamiliar feeling as if they are missing something.
I highly recommend this to any fan of the show, though!
