It’s more Galaxy Defenders for us this weekend. We’ve been having a blast with learning it and now want to take it to the next level and play through the story while leveling up our characters, their skills and weapons.
What are you playing this weekend?
Just got some expansions for Fortune and Glory. Looking forward to trying them out. Also picked up Last Night on Earth and hoping to get a game or two in as well.
Finally, the monthly game night is Saturday. Looks like we will be playing co-ops; probably Castle Panic w/Wizard’s Tower and Eldritch Horror are the likeliest with a few rounds of Avalon to close.
Won’t know until the GameKeeper gets here tomorrow, but we’re in the 4-6 range for people. Sounds like it could be
Runebound, Agricola, Magewars (We’ve combined 2!), Eclipse, History of the World.
Those are some of our standby’s for that headcount, though our GameKeeper friend is pushing 300 games so it could be something new as well!
I have a feeling, more Star Realms will be played. Maybe I can convince the kids into a round of Alien Frontiers.
@BaldMike70: Falkenstein? Wow, that brings back memories.
Hopefully I will at least get to try out Trains & Stations, which I picked up. And the expansions perpetually want to play Pathfinder.
My crew is gearing up for epic monster takedown with Siege: Heart of Darkness. Beyond that, we will probably engage in other tabletop shenanigans on Saturday evening, assuming we can get people to set down Doomtown: Reloaded and Star Realms long enough to play some more-than-two-player games.
Mmm big gaming plan for the weekend:
Dungeon Twister: prison
Krosmaster Arena
Fortune and glory
Eldritch Horror
Ticket to ride
Room 25
Ancient Terrible Thing
Gears of War
Blue print
Love letter and zombie dice in between
Hopefully joining Paladin and people for a game day on Saturday, which has me excited for Sentiles of the Multiverse. That said, Nimera has a gnarly cold, so it may be a couples gaming & chicken soup kind of weekend. That would mean maybe some Lord of the Rings: The Card Game, which is fine by me!
This week I’m going to continue my exploration of Tragedy Looper and teach my family how to play Five Tribes. I’ve got a new pile of games to break open and read the rule books, so a good portion of the weekend will be game prep for the coming week. I’m also broke down and bought the 5th edition after reading rave reviews. I may dust off my DM hat that I keep next to my GM hat. It’s been awhile old girl.
Sounds great, Jim! I’m not sure how much time I’ll have to game on Saturday but by Sunday my wife and I may play some Battle Cry, Pandemic, Zombie Dice and/or Dungeon Roll.
We are also going to roleplay. Castle Falkenstien is our rpg of choice.
