Even here in Albuquerque it’s been snowing all day. We were going to play games anyways, but snow is always a nice excuse to play more! This weekend we’ll be trying out some Star Wars: Imperial Assault skirmishes by Fantasy Flight Games, a little Pagoda by AEG and the “marshmallow in the hot chocolate” will be Marvel Dice Masters: Uncanny X-Men.
What are you playing this weekend?
Have a game group coming that is often more focused on social games (Werewolf, Resistance, etc.) Hopefully get a few “meatier” games in too.

No games today – but since tomorrow is supposed to be Snowpocalypse II: Return of The Snowpocalypse The Boy and I may delve into the skirmish end of Imperial Assault
I’m travelin so I’ll be playing small filler games such as Love Letter, Resistance, and Good Cop Bad Cop. I’m jonesing for a more meaty game…

Snow is headed our direction, so I’ll get Machi Koro and Darkest Night out to play. I’m also excited to get another couple of games of XCOM: The Board Game in tomorrow.

I got Arkham Horror for x-mas, but have not had time to play it yet. Hope to get it onto the table this weekend. Pandemic and/or Fortune and Glory might also hit the table.
Just had visitors playing Machi Koro and Love Letter. Believe that will be all boardgaming that happens for me this weekend. If I wont get another scenario of PACG: S&S done….. or a Shadowrun….
I got to catch up on a few recently-arrived kickstarters this week, working in first plays of Escape: Zombie City and Nightlight. Of course, so many more are sitting there taunting me – newly received and ignored in the last 2 weeks are Bullfrogs, Fief France 1429, and like @Hai Omen and Hemloch (read the rulebooks to both… there is an awful lot of “game” crammed into those tiny packages).
But those will have to wait. My focus for the weekend will be on my review duties (reviewties?): 12 Realms and Student Bodies. Not complaining – really excited for both!
Breaking in Formula D and probably revisiting Terra Mystica. Yay!
BOO! Just got a text that tonight’s Imperial Assault game is called off due to a member of Team Rebel having a bug. I guess that’s what one gets for sploshing around in Trash Compactors. I know we were probably going to get trounced by the Master of the Imperials but I was really geared up for it. 🙁
Oh well looks like it’s Chinese Food and some 2-players at home.
Harbour arrived this week so I’m up for some Learner’s Games of that. I hear it is ‘chaotic’ – but that’s my cup of tea.
Also received this week was the Kickstarter Deluxe Omen and Hemloch which I didn’t get as much Snow Day fun in as I wanted to. (Mostly because the Snowpocalypse turned into a Nopocalypse). I wouldn’t mind taking the training wheels off of them.

I’ve got my eye on putting a new Warhammer 40K: Conquest deck together and playtesting the heck out of it. I’ve also gotta a pile of Infinity miniatures that need to be put together and primed.
