I played Overpower CCG!
This weekend I played Sushi Go, Qwinto, That’s Pretty Clever, and Gizmos.
We introduced a couple of friends to Lords of Waterdeep, their first worker placement game. It took a couple of turns to work out what to do, but I think that by the end of it they were having fun. With scores of 97, 96, 95 and 91, they beat us too in a very tight game.
Had a friend over Friday. We played Pandemic: the Cure twice, and Nusfjord. Yesterday I played Solenia, then my friend and I started playing Exit: Pharao, but had to take a few breaks along the way, as her husband came and we were going to build some furniture.
Today I played some puzzles in the Journal 29 book, and then I cracked out my brand new Lockup. Great, new game!
Heading for a weeklong gaming convention! Looking forward to playing all kinds of stuff!
Gonna try to play Corinth and Trans Atlantic. This Monday my friend and I will be doing a theme day at the FLGS and the “theme” will be games that clock in in an hour or less (but no roll and writes, cause we have dozens and think that’s too easy an answer)> So Will probably bring Helios, Crusaders, Pioneer Days, and Gizmos
I just had a new Kickstarter project arrive so I will break that out this weekend. It is called Terror Below. f you have ever seen the movie “Tremors” you will have an idea of the game and its goals. I hope it is good and will write a review of it soon.
